We have grown by over 500% in the last 12 months and are ready for a Marketing Manager that’s hungry for their next challenge – the chance to drive business growth and product innovation in the Melbourne market. You’ll work collaboratively and nimbly with the teams in all 3 cities, building on the relationships and engagement of our readers, as well as exploring partnerships with SMEs, brands and media agencies in the retail, hospitality and lifestyle space. A motivational and collaborative leader, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience managing a team, as well as getting their own hands dirty, working together to achieve goals and contribute to business growth. As a start up organisation, culture is critical. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who shares our passion for The Urban List, is eager to work in environment where growth and change happens daily, and where collaboration and communication is key. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement effective, creative B-to-C and B-to-B marketing plans and campaigns Manage and motivate marketing, communications and design executives to achieve business development goals Establish and manage annual budgets; traffic, social media and database targets; analysing variances and providing insights to The Urban List team Monitor and report on campaign results and return on investment Collaborate with sales and editorial team members to ensure creative, effective solutions for our customers Maintain exceptional customer service standards, developing processes and procedures to ensure client satisfaction Work closely with team members across all cities to ensure seamless collaboration, and efficient leveraging of marketing activities Identify key market opportunities and trends, and engage in industry best practices – particularly with regard to digital marketing strategy Take an active role in developing your own marketing education, and building the skill sets of other team members KEY REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years experience in online marketing. Involvement in media sales a plus. Strong leadership skills, with a proven record of achieving marketing and sales targets Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Hands on experience establishing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online advertising, SEO and social media marketing Excellent organisational and management skills Flexibility to travel – some travel will be required Desire to collaborate with, and contribute to, a proactive start up team

QUALIFICATIONS • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Communications

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT • Full-time, permanent position with a 3 month probation period
