The structure and compounds in the new ST:01 BASE were conceived to optimise use, and therefore ensure full effectiveness and safety over a longer duration, irrespective of whether it is used on regional routes (R usage) or highways (H).The tread geometry works to promote limited resistance to rolling, guaranteeing efficiency in containing fuel costs.

The innovative geometry in the central grooves reduces movement in the tread, and consequently reduces rolling resistance(patent pending)

The zig-zag design in the tread helps expel stones and increases resistance to lateral sliding

The lateral reinforced beads improve shoulders’ resistance to impact and lateral friction
