    Chatsworth’s Painted Hall Opens its

    Doors to Weddings

Chatsworth House is offering brides and

grooms a ‘never to be forgotten’ experience

with an exclusive wedding day that will allow just a handful of couples each year to tie the

knot in its magnificent Painted Hall.

With its spectacular setting in more than 1000

acres of Derbyshire parkland, the ‘Palace of

the Peaks’ is now able to offer this premium

wedding for the first time, having secured a

license for the Painted Hall. Chatsworth is

eagerly awaiting the first bride and groom towalk down the Painted Hall, decorated with

murals showing scenes from the life of Julius

Caesar, where they will be married on the

stairs in front of their guests.

After the ceremony the bride and groom can

indulge in their wedding breakfast in the

opulent Great Dining Room which, over the

years, has played host to many royal visitors

    including the young Queen Victoria.

Chatsworth has a team of award winning

chefs and bakers ready to create a delicious

    wedding menu from fresh, locally-sourced

    ingredients.

Also new in 2015 is Chatsworth’s marquee

wedding service, which will see the

celebrations take place in the stunning

parkland with the house offering an idyllic

backdrop to the perfect country wedding. The

ceremony room in the famous stable block

has also undergone a makeover, with help

and guidance from the Duchess of

Devonshire, making it the epitome of quality

    and elegance.

Chatsworth makes an exceptional location for

    weddings, civil partnerships and receptions

and offers personal wedding planning to help

set the tone, whether couples are aiming for a

fresh contemporary feel or a more traditional,

    intimate event.

    For more information on Chatsworth

    weddings, visit www.chatsworth.org

The Chatsworth House Trust is dedicated to the long-term preservation of

Chatsworth House, the art collection, garden, woodlands and park for the long

    term benefit of the public.

The charity promotes the study and appreciation of Chatsworth as a place of

historic, architectural and artistic interest and of natural beauty, and encourages

the use and enjoyment of Chatsworth by visitors for education and recreation.
