ViscoTwin Pumps are manufactured by Pumpenfabrik Wangen in Germany. It is designed to be the next Gene-ration of Positive isplacement Pumps that fulfills the most stringent requirements for sanitary Applications. ViscoT-win Pumps greatly improve the current status quo on wear and tear caused by abrasive media, CIP’ability, very low suction head requirements, the viscosity range it can pump against high pressures, and ease for inspection and maintenance.The design is new from the ground up. ViscoTwin pumps are 100% bi-directional without restriction. 4 bearings are paired, 2 for each direction. The 2-part housing enables a larger top port and is 100% drainable after CIP/SIP.

Without special pre-caution, it can handle up to 266°F for Operation and SIP. Non-proprietary ORings in FPM for static seals insure low cost of owners hip by design. Various options are available for Process Connections, Screw Pitches, Bearing Frame Materials, rotating Shaft sealing designs, heated Housings, and Materials on wetted Parts.

Customer service starts well before the Pump is delivered: Each Application is unique and deserves professional attention for the sizing of pump head, rotors, shaft seals, the selection of the mo-tor, and other available options. When the pump is assembled it is tested on the teststand and undergoes a functional and leakage test.
