ATTENDANCE REPORT: March 1, 2015
It’s exciting to be part of a church that is doing work from Aquiles, Mexico to Zambia, Africa, and many places in between. Over the next three months, most of the 350 people going on mission trips from Edmond will have gone and returned from places near and far, all over the world. Our short term mission trips are a vital part of our efforts to reach the world for Christ.
Next week, 125 college students, EYG, adults and families will travel to McAllen, Texas, to work with our full-time missionary and long -time friend, Humberto Hernandez. Humberto first helped lead our trips to Aquiles, Mexico, more than twenty-five years ago. Now, he and his wife, Irene, have planted a church in the growing border town of McAllen. We are going to work alongside them and other members of their congregation and encourage them as we reach out into the community together.
Our young people want to stand out for their faith and to be challenged to be bold for God. Our students are expecting to work hard and to have life-changing experiences while leading others to a changed life in Christ.

SEARCH RECORDING
Note from Phil Sanders:Your participation in the SEARCH singing makes you part of a ministry touching people with songs of praise to God. Your songs comfort, uplift, and encourage people to draw closer to God. We receive reports from across the country of people praising and thanking us for the singing of the Edmond Church of Christ.
We are taping the singing of the Edmond congregation this evening at 5pm for the SEARCH program which reaches all 50 states and many countries; millions of people each week.
Some things to remember:• Doors open at 4pm, and the taping will last from 5 – 7pm• People of all ages are encouraged to attend• Childcare will be provided from 5 to 6pm• Bottled water will be available• The Lord’s Supper will be provided at the beginning of the service in the fellowship hall• Sunday morning attire is appropriate with thought to no seasonal clothing
We know it is long and gets a bit warm, so we thank you in advance for your participation. We, at Search, feel like this evening is a worship service to God that is taped to be shared with so many others who want to worship God. To God be the Glory!
