o Grady Wann noted that we have only

collected 20% of the Silent Auction items

that we normally collect. Please make

every effort to make your solicitation calls

and turn items in at Exchange Bank as

quickly as possible.

o Lynda Guthrie reminded everyone that all proceeds from the Silent Auction will

go to a local fire fund.

o Jim Westfall handed out the Volunteer List

noting that there are a few empty slots that

need to be filled.

o John Hazlett reminded everyone that each

member is expected to donate 2 bottles of

good quality wine to the Wine Collection

that usually generates around $2,000 in the

Live Auction.

President Kate reminded everyone that there will be a joint Social with the Sunrise Club

on Thursday, November 2nd

at the Healdsburg Museum beginning at 5pm. Free. A

signup sheet was passed.

Paul Frechette, Membership Chair, announced that

Doug Ruthnick has moved to Concord and has bought a

weekend house in Truckee. Doug hopes to come to a meeting

to say goodbye. With the loss of Max and Jen Crowe moving

out of the area, we need to bring in three new members this year

just to stay even.

RECOGNITIONS

Dick Bertapelle just returned from a trip to SoCal

for a family wedding in San Diego. Lots of golf in San

Diego and Santa Barbara before returning. $25 to the

Education Fund.

HAPPY DOLLARS

President Kate sadly announced that she had to put

down her Yellow Lab, Turkey, who due to age was

traumatized by the fire evacuation. $5 to the Education

Fund.

Patti Mannatt noted that while she didn’t lose her

house in the fire, she has noted that there are things we

lose in life that we never get back. One example for

her was her “virginity”. Another was challenged when

she couldn’t buy wine at Target without proving she

was over 21! $5 to the Education Fund.

RAFFLE

Gary Anderson had the Raffle Ticket but did not pick the

winning marble. He did receive a wonderful bottle of

Bertapelle Wine.

And, a couple more

At the end of the program, one of the members pointed out the different Ukuleles that the

members were playing, such as the Soprano, baritone, concert and tenor ukuleles.

It was a fun and entertaining program enjoyed by all!
