There aren’t many hiring wardrobes that specialise in youth sizes, but here at Petersfield Youth Theatre we can fulfil that brief to cater for every size. Over the last 30 years we have put on a ‘fair number’ of productions and have a wardrobe full of costumes specifically designed, acquired or adapted for young people. We take great pleasure in sharing our resource with schools and youth theatres and as our ensembles are large, we have sets of matching costumes that have been lovingly made using authentic fabrics and often dyed or distressed to create the effect. We are very experienced in helping you to find the right look for your show and have time to work with each creative team to achieve their vision. One of the best challenges for us is putting together a wardrobe for original or less well-known shows. Our wardrobe is based in Petersfield town centre, Hampshire, just off the A3 and a few minutes’ walk from the mainline station, so it’s very easy to come and visit us. We always encourage you to come and see the range and scope of costumes; the journey is always worth it! Have a look at the shows on our website for a flavour of our range.
