Orange Shirt Day: Honouring Those Who Survived the Residential School System
PLC: Reporting Guidelines During PLC Monday today we looked more closely at our plans for Reporting this year. The Reporting order has very important implications as to how we will be communicating student learning. Key to this new interim order is the shift from the Reporting of Marks to the Communication of Learning through a better balance of Ongoing and Summative Assessment. Also key points to the new Reporting order are: Authentic Evidence, Learning Standards, Descriptive Feedback and Student Voice which are the basis of all communication of student learning.
NLPS Consultation Tuesday Night The first of two Public Consultations will take place at Ladysmith Secondary School at 7:00 pm tomorrow night. The topic will be a continued discussion of the changing face of Reporting in our schools.
