2. ENTRY FORMS: The Westminster Kennel Club Dog show entry forms are prepared with club-specific and unique rules and requirements as well as being inaccordancewiththeAmericanKennelClub'sRulesApplyingtoDogShows.All information required on the entry form is used to insure the accuracy of all entries. each entry and all the information it contains is verified as part of theentry'sacceptance.Thismethodmaintainstheintegrityoftheprocessandfairness to all exhibitors who enter the show. All rules and regulations for entry intotheshowarenotedinthepremiumlist.It'sultimatelytheresponsibilityofthe exhibitor to correctly complete and return the entry form and contact mb-F with any questions. The superintendent uniformly follows and enforces all rules in receiving and processing the entries. AKC will audit all entries to validate AKC Championship, status and/or proper AKC registration.

ALLeNTrieSMUSTbesubmittedbyanactualownerorthedulyauthorizedagent* of the owner(s) (the person responsible for the dog at the show) or through an established legal entry service (whose normal business is the taking and submitting of dog show entries), or through our superintendent's entryservice infodog.com. *For the purposes of this show, any reference to an owner’s “duly authorized agent” anywhere in The Westminster Kennel Club premium list, catalog, news releases, promotions, etc., refers ONLY to that person who is responsible for the dog at the show and who will be exhibiting the dog in the ring.

4. There is a limit of one entry form per envelope. (Do NOT send multiple individual envelopes in the mailing envelope. ALL of them will be returned with no recourse.)

5. All entries must be accompanied by a check or money order payable in u.s. Funds.

9. eNTeriNGMULTipLeDOGS: if you are entering more than one dog and you win best of breed (or your Child is a Junior Finalist) or you win the masters Obedience Competition, your other dog(s) musT remain on the bench until the release time. be sure you make appropriate arrangements for this possibility. Your remaining dog(s) will nOT be released early.

10. DONOTBriNGUNeNTereDDOGS: There is nO space for unentered dogs.

11. veNUeS: breed judging and benching and Junior showmanship preliminaries will take place at Pier 94, on the specified days of the show. Obedience judging and benching will be on sunday OnlY. Group and best in show judging will take place at madison square Garden on monday and Tuesday evenings and Junior showmanship Finals will be at madison square Garden on Tuesday evening.


12. pier94: spectators should use the main entrance to Pier 94. For dogs and exhibitors the loading/unloading and admittance procedures, along with vehicle staging and arrival times and other pertinent information, will be included in the exhibitor Ticket Packet.

There will be chairs at each ring for breed/junior preliminaries and obedience judging along with stadium seating at the rear of Pier 94. smaller bleachers and more chairs are placed throughout the venue. There is no reserved seating at Pier 94.

13. TrANSpOrTATiON: Westminster will again provide bus transportation to and from each of our Gold star hotel Partners (hotel Pennsylvania, The stewart hotel and Wyndham new Yorker hotel) for exhibitors and spectators. Please consult westminsterkennelclub.org for updated schedules.

14. MADiSON SQUAreGArDeN: buses for bOb/V winners will begin leaving Pier 94 for msG at 2:30 P.m. on monday and Tuesday. The masters Obedience Winner is requested for a presentation at msG monday evening only. Junior Finalists are judged at msG on Tuesday evening. Only your dog, its crate and grooming equipment/tack are needed at msG. A grooming table will be provided by the club at each bench at msG. 7. “Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian's recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.” This would include up-to-date rabies shot.

8. Please review your entry form prior to submitting. be sure it matches your AKC registration. Submittingincorrectinformationcouldholduptheprocessingofyourentry. it could further result in the disallowance of a win or in not permitting the dog to be shown. The printed show catalog is distributed world-wide and incorrect information submitted would be reprinted by the press or portrayed in other media. Owners are responsible for such errors no matter who submits the information. Onceentriesareclosed,AKCDOeSNOTALLOWanycorrectiontotheentryinformationotherthanacorrectiontothesexofthedog.

9. Once entries close and the preliminary audit is completed all entries that include a valid e-mail address on their entry form will be sent an e-mail notice of receipt of entry pending AKC validation of their championship and/or proper registration (approximately 10 business days after closing). A hardcopy notice of receipt of entry will also be mailed First Class via the u.s. Postal service. After the closing time no entries will be accepted, cancelled, changed, substituted, corrected, completed or signed (exception AKC rules Applying to Dog shows, Chapter 11, section 6 or Junior regulations section 7) and no entry fee refunded (except as provided in AKC Obedience rules Chapter 1 section 14). Telephoned or telegraphed entries, conditional entries, and/or photocopiedentrieswithouttheAKCagreementonthebackarenotacceptable. 11. This Club and/or its superintendents assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner, or a legal entry service engaged by the owner, nor for the owner or the owner’s agent or legal entry service entering a dog in a class for which the dog is not eligible to compete, nor for entering the same dog twice, nor for entering the wrong dog.


12. Fees payable in u.s. Funds must accompany entries. unsigned checks, returned and Post-Dated checks/money orders do not constitute an entry fee. Anyentrythathasanunsignedcheckorareturnedorpostdatedcheck/moneyorderwillbe returned. no dogs will be added to replace these entries.

13. entry fees are nOT refunded when a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund for bitches in season entered in Conformation or Junior showmanship or for duplicate entries. Seealsopages24,31,34-35.

14. TheClubmaydeclineanyentriesforcause.inaddition,theymayrefusetoreceiveormayremoveanydogonaccountofdisease,viciousnessorothercausesandnooneshallhaveanyclaimorrecourseagainsttheCluboranyofficialthereof.

15. no entry fees are returned if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, wars, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, extreme weather conditions, fire and Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or any other cause beyond the control of The Westminster Kennel Club, nor shall

Pier 94 or madison square Garden Corporation or the superintendent be liable in any way. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. exHiBiTOrTiCKeTiNFOrMATiON1. regardless of the ownership of the dog(s) one exhibitor’s gate admission for

all days per venue is sent for each dog entered and is needed for admittance. The person accompanying the dog must show an admission ticket and the dog identification before the dog will be admitted. DO NOT BRING ANY DOGS THATAreNOTeNTereD. TrOpHieS1. Trophiesandprizesareawardedinthejudgingringtothepersonexhibiting

the dog, who is considered to be the owner or agent of the owner. AllclaimsforprizesmustbemadeinthejudgingringbeforecompletionofthejudgingoftheBreed,JuniorsorObedienceclassandtheSuperintendent’sofficeadvisedatonceofanydiscrepancy. The superintendent and the show-giving ClubdisclaimanyliabilityforprizesortrophiesafterthejudgingofthatBreed,Juniors or Obedience is over.

LOSS OR DAMAGE1. The WKC, the superintendent and site management will not be responsible for

the loss or damage to any dog or property of any exhibitor, whether the result of accident or any other cause. it is expressly understood that every dog at the show is in the care and custody and control of its owner or handler during the time the dog is on the show premises. see also the Agreement on the reverse of the entry form.

2. The welfare of an exhibitor’s/spectator’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor/spectator. it is expressly understood that exhibitors/spectators will exercise control and restraint over their children while they are on the show premises. The use of child strollers is nOT recommended.

3. The Westminster Kennel Club and its superintendent caution all persons enteringtheshowsiteandshowgroundsagainstallhazardswhichmayexist,including, but not limited to: Condition of the site/grounds, parking/loading/unloading areas, entrances, floors and stairways, elevators and escalators, floor coverings, walkways, tenting/canopies, electrical appliances, cords and fittings, exercise pens, and the presence of animals. All persons should take into consideration this is a sporting event and dress, act and exercise caution appropriate for the activity involved. All persons entering the show, the grounds, site and show areas for whatever purpose do so entirely at their own risk. by virtue of entering the show, the entrant has indicated their acceptance of the terms listed in this premium list and assumes all risks involved.

EqUIPMENT1. The Club and its superintendent provide assistance to exhibitors and

handlers in unloading and placing their crates and grooming tables. benching/grooming areas will be arranged in rows; aisles will be to facilitate exhibitors and to expedite the safe and smooth operation of the show. by entering this show, exhibitors and handlers agree to follow all directions of the special assistants charged with arranging and maintaining orderly conditions in these areas. Abuse of these assistants will not be tolerated.

2. Groomingwilltakeplaceatthedog'sbenchineachoftheshowvenues.Groomingtablesinexcessof24x48inchesarenotpermittedatpier94.Tablesmustbefoldedwhennotinuse.Benching/Groomingofdogsinareasotherthanthosespecifiedisnotpermitted.Allcrates/tackunitsmustbestacked.

6. A small chair can be placed between bench and grooming table. Forthesafetyofall,noothertablesandotherfurnitureareallowedinthebenchingareas.Aisleswillbedelineatedbytaping.Noaisleobstructionispermitted.

7. handbills, circulars, or other printed matter may not be distributed at this show.

8. Allcordsonfloormustbetapeddowntoavoidtrippinghazards.

9. neither WKC nor the superintendent is responsible for any equipment or supplies or other belongings left on the benches or at any of the show venues.

BeNCHiNG1. Dogs are received only at the exhibitors’ entrances noted on the layouts for

Pier 94 beginning at 5:00 A.m. e.s.T., each morning. best of breed/Variety winners and the Winner of The masters Obedience Championship are received at the exhibitors’ entrance ramp noted on the layout for madison square Garden, after 2:30 P.m. e.s.T. monday and/or Tuesday afternoon. The masters Obedience Champion is requested to be present at msG on monday Only. Junior Finalists are received at msG Tuesday.

2. Dogs must arrive at Pier 94 by 11:00 A.m. e.s.T. on the day they are judged. Dogs arriving after 11:00 A.m. e.s.T. will not be admitted, and no entry fees will be returned. All dogs must be removed from the benching areas by 11:30 P.m. e.s.T. each evening.

SUNDAYBreeDS/equipment may arrive beginning saturday morning at 10:00 A.m., e.s.T. All sunday judged breeds cannot be removed from Pier 94 before 5:00 P.m., e.s.T. and must be removed from the benching areas by 11:30 P.m., e.s.T. sunday. Owners/handlers of sunday dogs eligible for Variety Group judging and the masters Obedience Champion, should plan to arrive at madison square Garden on monday after 2:30 P.m., e.s.T. and prior to 5:00 P.m., e.s.T. These dogs are nOT required to be benched in Pier 94 on monday.

MONDAYBreeDS/equipment will not be admitted into Pier 94 until 9:00 P.m. sunday evening. Best of Breed/variety Winners and the MastersObedienceChampionONLY will be released to madison square Garden beginning at 2:30 P.m. monday. Terrier bOb/V Winners are nOT required to be benched in Pier 94 on Tuesday.

AGREEMENT1. by entering this show, all participants agree to the following: All rights to

advertise, promote, publicize, televise or otherwise exploit the show arevested in The Westminster Kennel Club and its assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses, voices or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, and kennels participating in the show.
