The Wolves The wolves are my favourite animals. They live in

Asia, Russian Europe and Slovakia too. The wolves are black, grey or white with black-grey tails

and black-grey stripes. They have got four legs one big and beautiful tail. They are like dogs: beautiful, big..... but dogs are not so aggressive. The wolves are very good in

running and they are excellent hunters. The wolves are mammals because they produce milk for their babies. Typical for wolves is howl.

„Aúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúúú!“ This howl is heard faraway and they (are) howl at the midnight

They live in groups. There are between four and ten wolves in a group. They sleep in den. Early in the morning, they leave their den and look for food. They eat rabbits, dead animals and sheep too .

In (the) Slovakia, the wolves are protected because they are few.
