How long have you been part of the team at PBBC? I am the longest serving employee. 2015 marked 25 years of service, I have been at the Club since August 1990.

What do you enjoy about coming to work? It’s always the people. Each day is something different with old and new faces to chat to and find out if they have moved to the area, here on holidays or one of our regulars. Everyone has a story to tell.

Biggest influence or change over the years? Technology involved within the Club has certainly come a long way. From what we had 25 years ago there have been so many changes and updates that make everyday life easier. The renovations to the Club over the years has drawn in more locals and visitors and the improvements are great to see.

Welcome to our new look quarterly magazine. It’s the start of another year with plenty in store for all our members and guests over the coming months.

We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable festive season with friends and family. The Members’ Christmas Party was held on the 19th December and from all accounts it was a great evening had by all, dancing and mingling the night away and it was wonderful to see so many came dressed for the Roaring Twenties. Thanks to Rob Norsworthy for providing entertainment on the night.

We had many members and guests leave with a little goodie tucked under their arms after the Christmas Raffle, with so many fabulous prizes it was hard to pick just one. Congratulations to all of our winners.

Don’t forget our Members Super Sunday cash draw continues in 2016 so be sure to be in the

Club the last Sunday of each month to be in with a chance to win $2,000. It could be your name drawn out next!!

During the month of January we have a special for all those interested in playing a game of barefoot bowls - just $5 per person. So be sure to arrange a game with friends and family members.

There is plenty happening this quarter with Valentine’s Day and the opportunity to win with our Golden Slipper Race Day competition, just purchase one of the selected beverages to receive an entry. Enter as many times as you like. Prizes drawn 27th February.
