The new Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia, which replaces the previous Gallardo in use by the Italian police force since 2004, has a 560 horsepower engine that can reach speeds of up to 203 mph.

The car will begin service with the Lazio Highway Police Department in order to continue accident and crime prevention to sustain security on the Italian roads.

What a car!!

After spending a year with the Italian State Police, the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia ended up being totaled in an accident near Cremona.

The story goes that the driver of the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia swerved to avoid a car that was exiting a gas station and ended up driving into a bunch of parked cars.

According to reports, the two officers in the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia ended with some minor scratches.
