THE PROCESS: How we WOW! Flowers & Balloons ask more questions than most – it’s important that Denise & her team of very experienced florists understand your likes & dislikes, wedding theme, including photography and location are all part of making your wedding day complete.

Wedding Designs - Denise meets with you – usually in-store or at your home upon request, often early evening. Allow 2 to 3 hours. On confirmation, $100 deposit is payable with the balance due prior to collection on the day.

4-6 weeks before the Wedding, Denise will contact you to finalise details. Then 2 weeks before, Denise will double-check to see if any changes are needed & to finalise pickup time on the Wedding day.

Theme Design / Special Events - Contact Flowers & Balloons to arrange a FREE 1-hour consultation.

Gifts - Whether it’s a professionally designed bouquet you know will be like no other or to a gift inside a lovely Balloon, contact Denise or pop in!

How to hold your bouquet?Flowers with stems - hold the bouquet with two hands at the marked ribbon point.Bouquet with trails - let your arms fall naturally holding the bouquet with two hands just below your waist.Posy - As you hold the posy let it slide through your hand until it rests at the base of the arrangement.

Which side to pin button holes & corsages?Button Holes: Positioned just below your collar bone on the left hand side with the flower stem pointing to the floor. Corsages: Also on the left hand side however with the wired stem being pinned on your shoulder seam & the flowers pointing towards the floor.

The best method of preserving your wedding flowers?Our flowers come carefully packed in wedding boxes for your special day. If you are wanting to preserve your flowers, please let us know because some preserve better than others long term.

How to make your flowers look stunning in photographs?Trailed bouquets always look best in photographs pointing down towards the floor because that’s the way they have been designed to look best. Black & white or Sepia photographs? Let us know & we can make sure your design has great contrasts & textures.

Flower girls & page boys love to look the partIt’s just as a big day for them as it is for you. Flower girls - we often replicate the bridesmaid bouquet in a cute posy and for Page boys - a little button hole.

Balloon Sculptures Balloons, but not as you know it! Go a step further – Balloon Sculptures grab attention & are particularly good at adding dramatic effect in anentrance way, or as a backdrop to a Bridal Table. Balloons with a twist! Denise can also insert soft toys or special messages into balloons - an unexpected surprise for someone special. As well as place coloured balloons inside clear textured balloons to emphasise your wedding theme/colours.
