Calendar of Events See Full Calendar at www.nnyc.org/calendar DragonForce 65 Indoor Racing Sun, January 7th January Social Gathering Tue, January 9th Strictly Sail Trip Sat, January 13th DragonForce 65 Indoor Racing Sun, January 21st Bowling Social Sat, February 3rd NNYC IN THIS EDITION: Annual General Meeting and Banquet Chesapeake Cruise Write-Up Indoor R/C Sailing Returns CHICAGO BOAT, RV, AND SAIL SHOW What: Chicago Boat, RV, and Sail Show (AKA Strictly Sail) When: Saturday, January 13th 7 AM Where: Leaving Neenah at 7 AM, heading to Chicago for the show and returning that evening For several years now we have had a blast taking a group to the Chicago Boat, RV, and Sail Show (formerly Strictly Sail) and we are going again in 2018! We will be coordinating transportation for Saturday, January 13. We are considering renting a bus depending on the number of sailors interested; otherwise we will coordinate a carpool. Attendees will enjoy opportunities to climb on some awesome sailboats (pro tip: wear clean socks without holes) and can check out the latest products from a variety of vendors . There are various learning opportunities and seminars for sailors available for all skill levels and interests. Check out all the details here. The show starts at 10 AM and transportation will depart Neenah around 7 AM and return that evening. Tickets are $15 if purchased online by 1/9/2018, or $17 at the door. We will split the cost of gas for a car pool. If you are interested in attending please contact Sail Promotion Director, Dan Reichardt at [email protected]. (If you are willing to be a carpool driver please let us know and include the number of passengers you can comfortably fit). Those great days of summer Scot sailing! Commercial Street, Neenah) Tuesday, January 9th will be our first social event in 2018! Stop by The Dome to socialize and have some good food and drinks. CALENDAR UPDATED We have been busy getting events scheduled and planned for 2018. Dates that are set have been listed on our 2018 calendar and details will be filling in as we continue planning an exciting 2018 for NNYC! WOMEN S SAILING CONFERENCE The 2018 Womens Sailing Conference will be held on Saturday, May 19th in Milwaukee. Registration will open on January 10th. We have had some members really enjoy this event in the past. Save the date and stay tuned for info! Thanks everyone for bringing in a donation to the AGM to fill the boat! We dropped off boxes of non perishables at the ST. Joseph food bank and a box of hygiene items to the Harbor House.
