A Wonderful World
This world is so won-derful,
Like a hand which is candyful,
Where some things are sweet
And some are sour.
We should understand the difference-
Or would seem like in-fants.
We should enjoy it to the fullest,
Or would be considered foolest
When the sun rises and cocks scream
The birds go to find their food flapping their wings
Instead of being lazy
We should get busy
I love this world
Its really very wonder-ful.

Club Activity Exhibition
Creativity@Zydus! Yes! That is what the annual club exhibition was called which unfolded on Friday, 6th of February at our school. The chil-
dren had been working on their exhibits for a long time and the exhibition
showed how hard they had worked for the various clubs. Apart from the usual,
there were non-fire cooking, photography and herbal gardening which were off-
beat. The children were helped by teachers and visiting faculty to achieve the
best results. With the parents heaping praises on them the childrens hard work
seems rewarded. Their efforts at Needle Work, Creative Writing, Drama, Music,
Puppet Show and Dance were a great source of entertainment during the two
days of exhibition. The effort by the school to help children identify their hobbies
and skill is laudable and the exhibition is going to be a regular feature on the
academic calendar. We present the experiences as shared by the students-
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB (AAROHI UNIYAL) I enjoyed my clicking a lot of pictures and capturing memorable moments. I felt
very privileged to learn the intricate skills of photography from my teachers. I
have learnt a lot from this club. These pictures are for lifetime as the moments
will never come back.
PUBLIC SPEAKING CLUB (RISHI M. KHANDELWAL) The public speaking club was a fantastic club. It made me learn what exactly to speak, how to speak and when to speak. The day of carnival was exciting and fascinating experience. We had to present a puppet show. I had become very nervous but I could perform well and was appreciated.
IT CLUB (JAY D. PARIKH) IT Club was a lifetime experience. It was learning by doing .The carnival held in our school on 6
th of February 2015 was simply a well organized affair. We got
an opportunity of making an animation with software scratch. We displayed our skills of editing a song software. It was nerve wrecking, tiring as we had to do the same thing again and again.
DRAMA CLUB (RISHAV PANDA) It was exciting, tiring & a knowledgeable experience. We enjoyed it very much.

DANCE (Shreya Mittal)
It was the dance club which was very interesting. The day of the carnival
we felt like bees trying to make honey and build a honey comb. The club
was visited by hundreds of parents. We received a lot of appreciation for
our graceful moves, beautiful steps and mastering these art forms.
NON-FIRE COOKING (Ayush Goplani)
The day of the carnival was very hectic. We made plenty of sandwiches in
the sandwich maker. Yummy cup cakes. There was a lot of crowd at our
stall. It was fast, teamwork which helped provide for the supplies..
MATHS CLUB (Santosh Iyer)
It was an awesome experience. The parents liked the idea of gifts. Cards
were getting over at an alarming rate. It was a fantastic day full of activities.
QUIZ CLUB (Siddharth Bhatt)
It was an extremely wonderful learning experience. Our topic was AMAR
CHITRA KATHA as the month was celebrated as Uncle Pais death anni-
versary. The Quiz corner was flocked by parents. The guests tried their
luck on Mythology. Parents loved the books hub and the video which ex-
plained how the Amar Chitra Katha had taken birth. It was appreciated and
loved by one and all. All the parents enjoyed this club immensely.
ART AND CRAFT (Mili Jetly)
It was a fabulous experience. We artists had made so many paintings. On
the day of the carnival we had decorated a classroom, the preprimary area.
The parents were swarming there. The place was a hub of activity. We al-
ways look forward to such activities in future.
HERBAL GARDENING (Aditi Jha)
The day of carnival was very hectic. The plants we had nurtured for months
we felt enthusiastic and energetic when parents asked about different
plants and how we had grown them. We had to explain every detail of how
we had managed to grow the potted plants. The flowers looked bright and
we felt happy that our hard work had given us a ripe fruit.
CREATIVE WRITING (ANIRUDDHA VENUGOPAL)
It was a very satisfying experience. It was a real test. Our work was moni-tored by the parents. We had a chance to individually portray our own selves.

My India The country that invented zero, The country who is now a hero!
But still we need to improve, We are best, we have to prove that!
Now its time to show our unity, Now its time to show our strengths!
The country that invented zero, The country who is now a hero!
We are leading everywhere, But still lack in humanity!
Clean India, pretty India But then, what is the reason?
We dont need to be anxious about the next step, We just need to be serious about the present step!
The country that invented zero, The country who is now a hero!

WHY TECHNOLOGY FOR
OUR FEELINGS?
Why is it always a mobile,
To send our feelings far some
mile.
Come out and walk under the
sun,
This is how we will have some
fun.
Laughing, chatting, giggling,
running
And paying attention to our
loved ones.
Singing, dancing and talking
show our true feelings,
Will they be out through the
forwarded ones?
At that moment the world is
ours,
Flying through the memory
lane and shining like a star.
At that moment we are enjoy-
ing to the fullest,
Not stuck up at the cells for
hours.
So, dont waste time on the
foolish jokes.
Come out ! Leave the phones,
And observe the world which
you call your own.
As, it is only one life you live,
So, believe in what you take
and give.

ANALA CAMP TO JAMBUGHODA
Class 4 students and their class teachers set off for the tour to Jambughoda on January 27, 2015 from the school. Camping in the middle of hills and lush green forests students learnt the important lesson of living in harmony with nature as well as with each other. The forests were full of teak and mahuda trees, bamboo and other vegetation. There were many hiking trails that took them to the forest area. Apart from learning about the various trees the stu-dents were also able to see the shedded skin of a snake, the skeleton of a cha-meleon and the nests of leaves made by red ants. On the way back they enjoyed collecting wood for campfire. At the campsite they experienced the joy of try-ing their hands at the potters wheel, adventure activities like flying fox and vertical ladder and showing off their talents during campfire at night. They also went for hiking in the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary which is a home to a large population of many kinds of wildlife- the leopard, jackal, hyena, deer, sloth bear to name a few. They enjoyed a few tranquil moments near the picturesque lake in the sanctuary. They were explained the concept of a wildlife sanctuary. After a memorable stay at Jambughoda the students returned to Ahmedabad on 29th January enriched without doubt by the exposure and experience pro-vided.

LIFE
Some things in life leave us speechless
The thing is endless
And leaves you breathless
Your needs get limitless
Whatever people say will go unheard
Its meaningless.
That greatest gift is a true life
Life is not a game played very riskily
To survive and enjoy you need not walk briskly
What will put an end to it will be fear
But hold on as it is very dear
No matter what it will always stay near.
To lose this is not mere,
No one out there no one to hear,
If you think its right avenge
You should think its wrong take- revenge
Dont do things formidable
Make your life commmentable.

Fenny Did It For A
Penny
Frenzy phoned to Fenny,
She told her what to buy,
But Fenny had no penny!
Then how would she buy?
She asked her mother frankly,
And her mother was furious,
But Fenny did it for a penny!
Fenny got a penny,
So she was very happy,
She bought a fine Frisbee,
And gave it to Frenzy.

THE SECRET
There was once a flower, a flower growing amongst the mud and stench of a dead valley. The valley had nothing left, no green grasses, no fresh smell of new life. It had been covered by the soot of burning men and horses from many years of war, a carpet of dried, black blood formed the top layer of the soil. Ravages of many decades turned the once beautiful land into a depressive sight.
There was , once a boy and a girl. They used to play amongst the lush green pastures and streams of the same valley. Hiding in the woods, creating a world of magic only they were part of, away from the concerns of what was happening outside the edges of the valley. The valley was a happy place. The children grew up together, playing with each other, sharing secrets, building their lives and drowning themselves in the happiness of the daily work. Their adult selves discovered each other. Discovered the living existence of the other, the complete dependence on each other and the feeling of holding hands rolling in the hills. The boy be-came a man and she became a woman. They built a house in the valley and lived their lives in the wonderful drudgery of everyday life. Neither needed anything else in life. Except for a baby, someone to call their own. They tried their hardest but kept failing and it made them sad. But they kept the dream of having a child alive.
Until one day, when the king announced the kingdom was going to war, and every man was needed to fight. He had to leave. She begged him to stay but he couldnt. She cried next to him saying she wouldnt be able to live without him. He told her a secret again, kissed her forehead and put her off to sleep. That night he didnt sleep but kept stroking her hair and touching her face since this could be the last time they ever got together. They woke up in the morning and went about their work as usual. Then the horn rang, it rang with the re-sounding reverberation of death and despair. This made her very sad and she caught the look of desperate pleading in his eyes, but he had to fulfil his duty to the land. The land of their perfect childhood had to be protected from anyone who dared to take it from them. Before leaving with his small bundle of clothes, he gave her a box, with it, was attached a letter.
My darling, it saddens me completely to leave you here, after all these promises we had made to each other. But it is only because I want to keep you away from harm. I have to pro-tect my beloved so that she can live a happy life. This box that Im leaving you contains something very precious. That is my greatest secret to you. Whenever you feel that I may not return, open the box then. You have to provide the box the most love that you can muster. It will hurt you but you will be happy again. Please dont forget me. Always yours.
She spent her days growing flowers and trees around their cottage. He wrote to her every 3 months so she knew he was still alive and strong. She prayed as no monk or priest had ever done before, for him to return to her. She kept all his letters next to the box he had given her. It had been six months since he wrote to her, but she didnt give up hope. One day, while sitting by the stream, staring at the sky, she heard a small clink from the stream. She put her hand inside the clear water and pulled out a ring. It was the same ring that she had given him to wear as part of their marriage. Here it was, floating on the stream. She noticed a tinge of red in the water but she couldnt think about anything further. She realized he was gone and it was time to open the box. Her life with him had ceased to exist and the feeling of it was slowly stopping her beating heart. She ran inside and burnt every letter, every belonging of him and collected the ash. She found the box in the far end of their room and slowly opened the lid. Out of it emerged the smallest, most beautiful, orange and green coloured flower, that the world could have ever seen. She carefully lifted the box and took it outside to her garden of still surviving plants. In the middle of the rows of gerberas and lilies, she dug a small hole and placed the tiny flower in it. She brought out the ashes of her beloveds belongings and strew them around the flower. She kissed the fragrant petals of the flower and put his ring next to it. Looking around the valley one last time, she cried. She cried for every memory she had now lost out with him, she cried for the future and she cried for her home. The wails of the dying men and shrieks of women watching their children being murdered was echoing around the valley. The green of the distant hills slowly turned into a dead grey. The streams dried up and turned black. It was finally the day when all the ash falling from the dead sky settled on the ground. The flower still blossomed. She was proud of their love, the flower being symbolic of their life.
The valley was finally declared to be a dead land that was unable to sustain life. Just the lone flower survived. And she lived in a distant land, with a petal from that flower.

COLOURS
Blue, red, yellow, pink, wait, wait, wait
How many colours to count
On the holy plate?
Peach, white, black and red,
Colours of my body.
Black, golden, brown hair, on the head of the lady.
Look around yourself, the blooming flowers with multicolours
The walls painted with many colours
And the nature with beautiful colours
Look at your teacher everyday,
A coloured shawl and a coloured band
On the tall trees, are the colourful birds?
And the tasty white creamy curds,
Crayons, paints, colour pencils
Fill the paper with colours
And on the same paper, is my name shining bright in the corner
The blue and white colours on the rivers
And the indigo coloured water in the coolers
Well, I salute my all these friends
Friends named colours

Rivers
If I would be a river,
I would flow down the mountain,
Go to every village,
Every wood in the country,
Everywhere I would flow.
I would be divine,
I would be fresh and pure,
I would meet God and,
Bow before them.
To greet them and show my respect.
I will meet the sea,
Give water to everybody,
Distribute love to everybody,
To show kindness,
And sympathy to everybody.
