TRIMMING TIPS Hit up www.vsformen.com.au for more grooming tips & inspiration + handy videos on how to get the most out of your Beard Designer.

This trimmer can be used in circular movements or you can go backwards and forwards with The Beard Designer over the face and neck, depending on what suits you.

Before trimming, we recommend back combing your facial hair against the grain to lift the hairs. This will help to ensure all hair is captured when trimming. Even if you intend to use The Beard Designer as a wet trim, we recommend back combing your facial hair.

MAINTAINING A BEARD OR STUBBLE LENGTHYou can easily use The Beard Designer to maintain an all-over same length beard. Simply choose the desired trimming setting and let The Beard Designer do the rest, using circular cutting movements or backwards and forwards over the face and neck, whatever suits you.

TRIMMING DOWN TO STUBBLEIf you want to go down from a mid-length beard (approx. 10mm) to a shorter stubble look (approx. 1mm) you should cut in several steps. For example, start at 10mm length, then trim to 6mm length, then once this first stage is complete, cut down to 1mm. I.e – 10mm Ò 6mm Ò 1mm.

LONGER LENGTH BEARDSFor beards longer than 20mm, we recommend pre-trimming to about 15mm length.
