At THEM, we practice “cell manufacturing.” Translation: Our state-of-the-art equipment and lean, flexible practices enable us to multitask jobs and keep our manufacturing cost structure low.

Our diverse capabilities also enable THEM to achieve something uncommon in our industry: We can manufacture any size box in any quantity, fast. Boxes you can place a toy car in. Boxes you can park your actual car in. Hundreds of boxes in seconds. Thousands of boxes in minutes.

Our “super sheet plant” technology features mini to jumbo flexo folder/gluers. Rotary and flat bed die cutters. Labelers. Specialty gluers. Stitching and taping machines. We have every capability to manufacture your cartons, displays, inserts, partitions and any design you bring to us, or that we create together.

Best of all, the manufacturing flow is controlled by THEM’s computerized Inventory Management System. The IMS monitors your on-site inventory levels and re-prioritizes production based on depleted stock. And if your materials aren’t warehoused on THEM’s floor, your new manufacturing job is scheduled at the time of your order.

Finally, our enclosed, filtered scrap removal system ensures that our manufacturing practices are safe and environmentally friendly. Because, along with every piece we make, we also care about what happens to the trim. And what happens is, it all gets recycled.

THEM’s comprehensive inventorying capabilities give you room to grow.

With several distribution centers throughout the Midwest, THEM has over 750,000 square feet of total space. A majority of this space holds thousands of SKUs’ worth of customer materials, meticulously inventoried in safe, dedicated, identifiable locations.

Communication is important throughout THEM’s process, but it’s most critical in this multidimensional phase. That’s why the coordination of your on-site materials is handled by our Inventory Management System.

The IMS tracks your packaging to the last piece based on annual, monthly, weekly or even daily usage, so we can notify you in a timely fashion when it’s time to replenish. The IMS documents actual release quantities and seasonal/cyclical fluctuations. It generates reports that help us build inventory against your expected volume.

We’ll hold your inventory for up to 180 days. And since you’re in control of THEM’s process, you pay for the pieces as you release them from our distribution centers. The result? Your materials are kept off your floor until you need them, creating space that can be used to grow your business more effectively.

Meanwhile, your inventory at THEM is available at a moment’s notice.

THEM will ship the materials you need, when and where you need them… “just in time,” or any other time. On time, every time.

Our distribution responsiveness and flexibility are unparalleled. Because building long-term relationships with our customers is so important to us, we’ll ship any quantity. We’ll ship individual cartons, if necessary. We’ll also ship matched sets, meaning you’ll receive quantities of inner packing – like pads and partitions – to precisely match the number of boxes you order. That way, you’ll have no excess inventory or potential damage. Plus your cash flow and space remain optimized.

THEM also offers “contract packaging.” We’ll fill cartons with your product and ship them wherever you like, including multiple locations. We’ll even backhaul your product, pack it and ship it directly to your customer, saving you a major amount of time, mileage and freight costs.

We can do all of this because we have our own fleet of trucks. There’s no waiting for third-party carriers to arrive at our docks. Pinpoint arrival times are routine when you work with THEM because our trucks depart continuously.
