Social Issues
• Definition:– Social issues are matters which
directly or indirectly affect a person or many members of a society and are considered to be problems, controversies related to moral values, or both. Under certain models of political issues, they are seen as distinct from economic issues.
Society
• Definition:– 1) a group of people related to
each other through persistent relations; – (2) a large social grouping that shares
the same geographical or virtual territory, subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations.

• Definition:– how, why, and to what degree people
should value things, whether the thing is a person, idea, object, or anything else.
–Moral goods are those that have to do with the conduct of persons, usually leading to praise or blame.
Economic Issues
• Definition– Economics is the social science that
analyzes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services.
Politics/ Role of Government
• Definition– a process by which groups of people
make collective decisions. The term is generally applied to the art or science of running governmental or state affairs. It also refers to behavior within civil governments.
