School Supplies NeededOn November 8th we have a team of missionaries going to Mission, SD to
help on the Rosebud Indian Reservation with the “Feast for the Nation”. They would like to take school supplies to the local Christian school
there, White Eagle Christian Academy (WECA). WECA supplies all their students with all the educational materials needed down to the last eraser. Therefore there is always a need for school supplies including: paper, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, backpacks, glue sticks, notebooks, folders, pens, etc. To be a part of this mission opportunity, please pick up any and all school supplies and drop them in the basket in the lobby.
The Turkeys are Coming!Cornerstone is once again privileged to help provide Thanksgiving meals for 10 families in
Davie County. Local Missions will soon have a display of paper turkeys that will list the needed items. Please watch for these NEXT Sunday! If you have any questions, contact Tammy
Naylor (336-940-7119) or the church office.Love in a Shoebox
It is Christmas Shoebox time again, so please feel free to take a shoebox, fill it and return it by November 17th
to be dropped off at the Collection site. Inside each shoe box are directions on how to pack your box along with a label for the box. Or you can bring items to help the youth pack their shoeboxes. Shoebox gifts are a way to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.Calling all Fall Decorators and Everyone Else Next Saturday from 10 -12Noon we will be decorating Cornerstone for the Fall Festival. All hands are needed to turn the FLC into a fall paradise. If you have any fall decoration we can use for this project, please drop them off with your name on them throughout the week. Better yet bring on Saturday morning and help us decorate every corner to look like fall.
Davie Football Team OutreachWe will feed the Thursday, November 7th. Please come and help with this annual outreach between 1 and 6pm.
Any questions … call Jay Abernethy at 336-306-0298.

October Mission HighlightRosebud Indian Reservation, SDThe Rosebud Indian Reservation is in one of the poorest counties in the United States. More than 46% of the reservation’s children live below the poverty line. In order to survive, extended families pool their meager resources together to try and provide for their basic needs. Harsh weather, remoteness, chronic lack of economic opportunities and resources combine to creat deplorable living conditions. We have connected with several churches and outreaches in this community and annually send a team to help with the “Feast for the Nation” and to reach out to the missionaries that live there. If you would like to join this missionary team that is going to the Rosebud Indian Reservation November 8th through 17th, please speak to Chuck Bradford.Sign up for one of the following:
