Psalm 147:1 encourages us to “Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming”. With 2015 in full swing there are

multiple opportunities to obey this biblical mandate in our ministries here at Philippi. Besides our regularly scheduled worship services, we have additional ways your family can use their gifts and serve Christ through music and worship. Jtots - Preschool Choir for ages 3 (by 8-31-14) - Kindergarten - Meets in the children’s hallway from 6-6:30pm on Wednesday nights - Leaders are Kim Inabinet & Melissa Gentry. Jkids - Children’s Choir for grades 1st-6th grade - Meets in the FFC on Sunday afternoons (beginning 1-18-15) from 4:30-5:45pm - Leader is Karen Finch. Jcrew - Youth Choir for grades 7th-12th grade - Meets in choir suite on Wednesday evenings (beginning 1-28-15) from 6:30-8:00pm - Leader is Stephanie Goodale. Jnotes - Orchestra for ages 7th grade through adults - plays for Sunday morning worship services and rehearses on Wednesday nights at 8pm - Leader is Brian Redding. Celebration Choir - Adult Choir for adults 18 and up - meets in the choir suite from 4:30 - 5:45pm on Sunday afternoons - Leader is Brian Redding.
