TESTING

Testing will be held at the following times for all students who have met the minimum class requirement, and have received their Permission to Test sheet:

Friday, February 27th

ATA Tigers - 5:30

Karate for Kids - 6:45 Teens & Adults - 8:00

There will be no regularly scheduled classes on testing day.

All students must return their Permission to Test sheet with their testing registration by Thursday, Feb-ruary 26th. Registrations received after February 26th will incur a late charge of $10.00. Black Belt Club members will need to bring their training tools to testing for their weapons form demonstrations.

MAKE-UP TESTING

Saturday, February 28th, 11am

If you are unable to attend Testing and Graduation Ceremonies, please contact us as soon as possible to schedule a make-up testing. Private/semi-private test-ings are available for an additional fee.

BUDDY DAY Saturday, February 28th, 10am

Join us and show your friends all the cool stuff you do in your martial arts class! Plus for bringing a friend, you can earn a $5 ATA Strong coin! Stu-dents should wear their uniforms and their buddies should wear loose fitting clothes. All friends will need to fill out a permission slip in order to partici-pate in Buddy Day.

TESTING TIPS FOR

PARENTS & STUDENTS

1. Dress your child for success in his/her best

uniform, with all patches and stars sewn on.

Students may wear a white t-shirt only underneath

their uniform tops.

2. Students are welcome to arrive early to warm up and review their testing material. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to testing, as we will have several testings and a full house all night.

3. Bring all gear and training tools to testing.

4. Cheer for every student and take pictures to

celebrate your child’s success.

Parent’s Night Out

Saturday, February 14th, 6-9pm

Cost: $35; $15 per additional kid

Parents, enjoy a romantic night out this Valentine’s Day while your kids have a blast at our Ninja Night! We will be having ninja training, games, activities, and pizza and refreshments. Friends and siblings ages 4 and up are welcome to join the fun too! Sign-up at the front counter by Thursday, Feb. 12th.

SATURDAYS ARE

ATA T-SHIRT DAYS

On Saturdays, students may wear an ATA mar-tial arts t-shirt, uniform pants and belt. All mar-tial arts t-shirts must be purchased at the front counter or at an official ATA event. The full uniform must be worn all other days except for Saturday. If for some reason students are unable to wear their full uniform, please speak with an ATA staff member.

Late Arrivals

Classes start promptly at scheduled times. Students arriving late, we ask you to please stand by the classroom door and wait for an instructor to give you permission to join class at an appropriate time. We appreciate your cooperation.

Valentine’s Day Cards

We are providing Valentine’s Day cards to handout to all your class-mates! They are free, they are fun, your friends will get free martial arts classes and you can earn prizes! Sign up at the front counter and see Mr. Williams with any questions.

Facebook Contest

In honor of Valentine’s Day, we want to see what you LOVE about martial arts! Post a picture of your student doing his/her favorite moves on Fa-cebook, tag Ata Amy Williams, and put Delaware ATA Martial Arts as the location. Pictures can be from testing, class, at home or anywhere else your ninjas strike! Get creative; we are giving away two free testings for the month of February—one for Best Picture and one random entry. Contest ends Saturday Feb. 14th, and the winners will be announced Monday, Feb. 16th.

Bad Weather Policy

In the case of a Level 1 or 2 snow emergency for Delaware County, please call the academy, or check our Facebook page or website for cancella-tion updates before coming to class. We will be closed in the case of a Level 3 snow emergency.
