9:00am - New Energy Savings Ideas TJ Navarro, Sales Director, Mid-Atlantic, Constellation
Saving energy and saving money at the same time is a quest for many businesses. Constellation, a supplier of OnDemand Energy Solutions, will discuss energy procurement for electricity and natural gas. Constellation and OnDemand are passionate about maximizing client savings by finding procurement solutions and savings for every meter type, regardless of size. In addition, we will also discuss solutions for a comprehensive approach to demand-side management, giving you the ability to fund energy conservation measures in support of organizational and environmental goals.
EDUCATION TOPICS/SPEAKERSSaturday 9:00am - Noon9:00am - Energy Savings10:15am - Employee Retention Panel Discussion11:15am - Listeria Prevention
10:15am - Employee Retention Roundtable Discussion with Industry Professionals
MSMA has coordinated a panel of human resource experts to discuss Employee Retention Strategies, facilitated by MSMA's own Joe Mass of J.T.M. Food Group. Our excellent panel from within the meat industry, will be ready to discuss with you the current trends and topics pertaining to finding and keeping great employees! Come prepared to share in the discussion.
11:15am - Listeria Prevention Melissa Newman, Director of Undergraduate Studies Food Science, University of Kentucky
Listeria control starts with sanitation! Recent work at the University of Kentucky illustrates how the environment outside of product contact surfaces can adversely affect your product quality and safety. Employees responsible for cleaning and sanitation must have a good understanding of what it means to clean.
We’ll hear from published Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky as well as Director of the Food Systems Innovation Center about this topic and measures to prevent it from your food stores systems.
Companies Represented on Our Panel will Include:Bob Evans Farms • JTM Food Group • 1 or 2 Additional MSMA Members
Don’t Forget: Our format change means the Silent Auction has a New Schedule:Friday, January 20: 5:00pm - 7:00pm (during the Supplier Recognition Reception)
Saturday, January 21: 8:00am - 2:00pm (during Education Programs, Luncheon and Member Meeting)
