THERE’S NOTHING LIKE JORDAN DAY 1: Amman Airport – Amman Hotel Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport. Transfer about 45 minutes to Amman hotel, rest of the day is free, check in & overnight. DAY 2: Amman Hotel – Madaba – Mt Nebo – Dead Sea Beach – Dana View – Shobak – Petra Hotel (B) After breakfast we drive to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. Short ride to Mt.Nebo, the place where Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died and believed to be his burial place. At Dead Sea Beach, the lowest point on earth, you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to float on salty waters. Driving towards Petra we enjoy the view of Dana Reserve and visit in Shobak the Crusader castle built by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem. Overnight Petra hotel. DAY 3: Visit - Petra Hotel (B) After breakfast visit the red rose city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and since 1985 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. The guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area, free time on your own and walk the same way back to the entrance. Overnight Petra hotel. DAY 4: Petra Hotel – Wadi Rum Jeep Tour – Amman Hotel (B) Morning time we 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world, by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Proceed to Amman, check in and overnight. DAY 5: Amman Hotel – Jerash – Amman City Tour – Amman Hotel (B) We drive 50 kms to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East, see spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. We drive back to Amman, already mentioned in the Bible as Rabbath Ammon, we visit the Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman theatre and traditional Souqs. Transfer to Amman hotel. DAY 6: Amman Hotel - Amman Airport (B) Breakfast at hotel, depending to your departure time transfer to Amman airport to board your flight.
