Help Needed Kelly Davis is looking for 10-12 people to help move Pastor Francis and his family to their temporary home in Durham on Saturday, August 17th. They will probably be there sometime mid-morning, but don’t the exact time just yet. If you would be willing and are able to move furniture, boxes, etc., please contact Kelly Davis @ 336-504-1493.

DATES TO REMEMBER

YOUTH PARENT MEETING – There will be a parent meeting on Sunday, August 18th at 11:30am in the Fellowship Hall for parents of all upcoming 6th -12th graders. The Youth Council will be discussing the possibilities for the 2019-2020 Youth Schedule.

CALLED BUSINESS MEETING – There will be a called business meeting on Wednesday night, August 21st at 7:00pm to vote on the 2019-2020 Proposed Nominating Report. The report will be available for pick-up and review on Sunday, August 18th.

SONSHINER’S PRESCHOOL OPEN HOUSE – will be Thursday August 22nd in the Preschool Rooms from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

PROVIDENCE BAPTIST OCC EVENT – Providence Baptist WMU will host speakers, Cindi Jacobs and Mindi Sullivan, for a Special Operation Christmas Child Event on Sunday, August 25th at 4:00pm. The two ladies have just returned from a trip to South Africa with the OCC organization and are excited to share their experience with everyone. Please bring your favorite finger food and join them.

BAPTIST WOMEN BANANA SPLIT EXTRAVAGANZA – The TBC Baptist Women will be hosting their annual Missions Groups Kick-Off this year, with a little added extra (actually a lot of added extra)! On Wednesday night, September 4th at 7:00pm, everyone is invited to the Banana Split Extravaganza. This year we will be featuring ice cream with all the fixings in the Fellowship Hall in a “job fair” atmosphere. Each group (missions, music, Sunday School, etc) is invited to set up a “booth” with information about your weekly/monthly activities; times you meet; ages. You can add door prizes, games, whatever you’d like to do to get folks interested in your group. We just want to open up all the possibilities and activities so that everyone knows the many options they have here at Theresa. Please, invite someone that you think might be interested in coming.

TBC HERITAGE WEEK – September 21 – 29, 2019 has been designated as TBC Heritage Week by the Transition Team. Please see the flyer in your bulletin for a list of dates and events to be held throughout that week AND some things you can help with to prepare for that week of celebration! **Please see flyer for additional videoing dates!**
