VINEYARD SOURCING

From vineyards across the region, with a high portion of growers in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. The goal is for a regional style that is noticeably Marlborough at an affordable price.

Specially selected sites (6 estate vineyards) across the three main subregions of Marlborough (Wairau, Awatere, Southern Valleys) give complexity and consistency.

Allan Scott vineyards are largely planted on the stony, free draining mid-Wairau Valley river flats. The vineyards are sustainably managed and the wines tend to be beautifully structured, with lighter aromatics than expected off the heavier clay soils of the lower Wairau plain.

From vineyards in the heart of the Wairau region of Marlborough - stony soils ensuring good draining and enjoy excellent ripening conditions for flavor-development in Sauvignon Blanc.
