These Lettermen Play Rough! The Varsity Club, as we all

know, was made up of some very hard-working guys. Under the very adept supervision of Mr. Richard Harris, the guys had the great honor of acting as ushers at the basketball games (you know, the ones who pushed the brooms at half time). The big event of the year for "the men" was the faculty basketball game. This was completely set up and run by the guys, and astonishingly enough, it was a huge success.

PIC A: Our group of sportsmen paused from their games long enough to pose for this group shot. STANDING: Greg House, Kevin Foster, Todd Anson, Steve House, Jim Kjolhede, Dave Farley, Lee Flory. SITTING: Mr. Harris (advisor), Steve Pickens, Terry Lynch (Secretary), Rich Dietz (President), Tom Peters (Treasurer), Rob Horning, Obi Nwabara. PIC B: Our Mighty Man Dan has been a leader in numerous sports activities, both indoor and outdoor. He was proficient in golf, basketball and baseball, receiving a

scholarship in golf. Here Danny is showing the stress of competition. PIC C: Our Outstanding Athlete of the Year Rich Dietz is in one of his more somber (also sober) moods, reflecting on his wins in sports such as tennis and football. Rich is now going to put his talents to good use at West Point. Watch for him in the Army-Navy game! PIC D: Our Mighty Oilers plot their next caper, namely, who will sweep the gym floor during half time of the basketball game. It looks as if an unknown member is elected!
