What is TheTaraEmporium !TheTaraEmporium is an expansion of TarasTalons! TarasTalons still exists as part of TheTaraEmporium as my indie nail polish brand is very much continuing. As well as indie polish I will also be blogging and writing about and selling products related to; fashion, beauty, baking and lifestyle! !I will be adding new products and ranges all the time, which will all have been created or chosen by me personally! Spotlight on….. Holo! !I gave in a while ago and now I’m completely in love with holo manis! I have been creating more and more holographic polishes recently for custom orders and subscriptions for my HoloHands club (£10 per month inc. p&p available on http://www.thetaraemporium.co.uk) have gone crazy! All the sparkle must have gone to my brain because I have fallen completely in love with the rainbow effect of holo polish! I really want to paint my whole office with holo paint, that’s normal……right? ;) !Here are some of my recent favourite holo manis! !This gorgeous champagne mani is by Instagrammer @murrellnails using TarasTalons holo topcoat! !

I’m loving….. Nail polish jewellery! !I have recently been loving nail polish jewellery, I’m seeing so many amazing designs and polishes being used to create unique jewellery and I think it’s all beautiful! I have even started putting nail polish jewellery in my TalonTreasureTrove subscription (www.thetaraemporium.co.uk) because I think it’s so great! !One of my favourite pieces of nail polish jewellery I have seen recently is by Instagrammer @charsnails, she used TarasTalons Write it in sparklers and some supplies from www.she-sells-seashells.co.uk to create this beautiful ring, which even has unicorn embellishments! (also from SheSellsSeashells). !

My current mani !I wear false nails for a few different reasons so my current mani is black false nails, with one coat of TarasTalons #selfie over the top and a coat of clear polish. !This is #selfie in the bottle, it’s a pretty sheer pink with iridescent glitters and matte white stars and diamonds. !

Tara’s Treats !While I was recently staying with my sister, we did some baking together. I chose to bake some delicious creme egg brownies I recently saw the recipe for here http://scarletscorchdroppers.com/2013/03/12/creme-egg-brownies/ !I did adapt the recipe slightly, I used; about 90g of plain flour, 2 heaped tablespoons of cocoa powder, 200g milk chocolate, 100 g butter, 2 eggs, 130g caster sugar, 2 dashes of vanilla extract and four chopped up full size  creme eggs (the recipe said 10 mini creme eggs but I used chopped up full sized one because I wanted the creme stuff to melt out into the brownie and make it more melty and gooey!). To make the fondant topping I used about 90g of golden syrup, 2 tablespoons of butter, a dash of vanilla essence and an unknown quantity of icing sugar! I just kept adding it until it tasted nice and was the right consistency! I also use 100g of chocolate with 50g of butter for the topping! !Here’s how my brownies turned out! !

! !They were so delicious but very sweet! I think next time I’ll try caramel ones without the fondant topping or maybe mini egg brownies! Or Malteser bunny brownies! I love Easter! ;) !!!!!!!!Page �9

Recent buys and gifts !My sister gave some presents when I saw her, which she hadn’t been able to give me at Christmas (we live really far away from each other). I loved everything she gave me but my absolute favourite thing was a set of Minnie Mouse OPI polishes! They’re so beautiful! !

! !I was also sent their gorgeous new makeup collection to review (you can see the full review at http://www.thetaraemporium.blogspot.co.uk). My favourite part of this collection was these amazing lipsticks! !

I’ve been chatting to…. SheSellsSeaShells! !As I have shown a fab ring by @Charsnails on the front cover which was made with some supplies from SheSellsSeashells I thought it would be nice to feature the brand a bit more! The lovely Sarah from SheSellsSeashells agreed to do an interview, so here’s what happened when we chatted! Tell us a bit about you?

I'm 22 and studying at university. Not everyone may know, but I'm a tad obsessed with my nails. In my spare time I also volunteer. !Tell me a little bit about She Sells Seashells? When did you open etc Our little shop opened last September. I say we as without my fiancé we wouldn't exist. No light bulbs occurring in my brain when it comes to creating a website, and maintaining it. !Why did you start She Sells Seashells? It all started with my desperation for some shell studs. For a couple of months I pined for them desperately, but couldn't justify the shipping cost personally. Then I thought I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem, and TA DA she sells seashells becomes my baby. !Where does your inspiration for the products you source come from? I wouldn't say I have an inspiration it's more ooooo that looks so cool, but I do look towards the instagramers and bloggers. Asking them what they would like to see is a huge part of it for me, and a major inspiration. !What do you love most about your business? Seeing what everyone does with the bits and pieces they buy. Not only do they use it for nail art, but jewellery as well. I love chatting to the customers too all the ladies I've spoken to are great. !!!!!!

Tell us a bit about the stuff you sell! I would like to say I sell a wide variety of products. I try to look for things that appeal to people who like small nail art items, and the same with people who prefer bigger nail art items. Personally I feel there are some very fun, and quirky items. Something for everyone really. !What is your most popular product that you sell? The steampunk pieces are a definite favourite of the customers, and the most popular line. !And what is your favourite product that you sell? Hmmm this is a hard one. I'm torn between the shells, and peacock eye embellishments. Ultimately though it would be the shells. !What do you do when you’re not working on She Sells Seashells? I'm in my third and final year studying special needs and inclusion studies. Volunteering became a big part of my life as of last year. I volunteer at two separate places once a week, and hope to soon get back to volunteering at the soup kitchen. Oh and I'm painting my nails, can't forget that. !I know you have a blog, tell us more about that! My little blog is my sanity sanctuary (I'm making that a thing now). It was created at a very stressful time in my life, and has since snowballed into an obsession. It's not popular by any means, but that's not my aim. I'm grateful for all my followers, and have met some truly amazing people because of it. My favourite fashion I’ve got loads of different bags but recently I’ve just been using the same one over and over again, a beautiful accessorise bag I‘ve had forever! A few days ago I had a look through some of my other bags to find something else and found a gorgeous bag I had completely forgotten about! I found it in a little shop in a small shopping centre near me and I loved it immediately!
