True or False - Flushable wipes aren’t actually flushable?

If you answered true, you probably haven’t had to call us to come out and clean your sewer lines this year.

Even though they say flushable, most of these wipes are still made from synthetic material that when combined with other personal hygiene materials can create giant pockets of waste, also known as ‘fatbergs’

Gross, right? ..and expensive to solve.

Think Before You Flush

Depending on the solution, we are talking hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Here is a general list of items that should never be flushed down the toilet.

- Flushable and Non-Flushable wipes of any kind. - Paper towels- Baby and household wipes- Feminine Hygiene products- Diapers- Medications and Vitamins- Household Chemicals

So remember, just because it can go down your toilet does not mean it will make it through your sewer line.

If you have ever stopped into our Leavenworth shop, she is usually the first person you see and always greets you with a smile. Tammy has always been dedicated to ensuring all customer needs are taking care of. “I always get excited when a customer who I’ve spoken with over the phone comes in to say hi. Growing up in a military family, Tammy moved around quite a bit, but eventually she settled back down in Leavenworth, Kansas. Tammy and her husband James have two girls, Raven and Kailey, and one boy, Nicholas. She also has one grandbaby, Paislee, and is looking forward to welcoming another babygirl, Nina, this month! Congrats!!
