In the year 1946, the foundation of GOKA ENGINEERING COMPANY was laid at Shrirampur
on the auspicius day of Maha shivratri. Modest beginnings combined with progressive ideas
And vision allowed the company to spread its wings into industrial contracting, residential
construction, real estate development, and hospitality. Our company prides itself for its values,
employee and customer satisfaction, and a reputation for quality and timeless. goka owes its
spectacular rise to its devoted employees, marketing staff and technical personnel, who have
grown with the company working as one dedicated team. Our in-house team includes
managers, civil engineers, estimators, surveyors, horticulturists, accountants, advocates,
as well as marketing teams in mumbai, Pune and Konkan.
PRAKASH VASANT KANE graduated in 1977 with a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the
prestigious I.I.T. Madras and joined the company in 1978. Over the past 30 years, he has
grown and diversified the company into residential developement, townships, and hospitality.
His biggest focus is preservation of nature and pollution free environment by promoting
extensive plantation nad development of mixed-use satellite townships.
AMOL PRAKASH KANE graduated in 2002 with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from COEP and
a M.S. in Construction Management from Georgia institute of Technology (Atlanta USA).
He worked in project management with the Wind Energy division of General Electric
Planning and setting up large capacity wind turbine farms in USA, UK, Germany and Spain.
After getting international exposure in a Fortune 500 company, he worked in real estate
development in Florida (USA), developing and promoting high-end beachfront residences.
In 2008, he moved back to india and joined Goka Engineering Company.
