PASSION

- Passion is the magic ingredient that zaps you with the fierce drive for completion of every endeavor.

Passion is more important that brains or talent. You need to take your ideas and add the weight of passion to them as soon as possible before they disappear into thin air.

You have to love what you do or you are

never going to be successful no matter what you do in life.

If you love what you do, you are going to work harder, you are going to try harder, you are going to be better at it and you’re going to enjoy your life more.

The most important things know your business and love what you do, both of which solve a lot of problems.

4 | P a g e

I am so passionate about my work that

to me there is nothing better, which is the greatest feeling. Some night I can’t even sleep.

I want to wake up so badly and get back to work.

You have to work passionately at something you love to do, and the momentum you build will work in your favor and bring other good things your way.

Gary Player

FIND YOUR PASSION Don’t think about how you can make

money. Instead, think about what you can produce or what service you can offer that is valuable and useful to people and to your community.

- What needs to be improved? - What can be done in a better or more

efficient way? - What problem can you solve? - What needs can you fulfill? - Most importantly, what will you have fun

doing? Sure you need to get paid for your work, and

you will if you provide something valuable. I understand that in the game of life, money

is how you score. Yet the real fun is not in simply scoring, rather it is in the excitement you will have coming up with creative ways to get the ball in the goal.

6 | P a g e

My advice is this: “Find your passion in

doing something useful for people and the money will flow.”

It may sound simple, but I have become a

millionaire by sticking with this simple philosophy. Many people believe that I started out

with a lot of money. But, the truth is that when I started out in business, I was practically broke – I mean with nothing.

All I have got then was some education and the simple formula for getting wealthy:

“Work hard doing what you love.”

– President Donald J. Trump United State of America

With everything you do, find a mission or grand purpose beyond money that you can become passionate about.

7 | P a g e

Find the higher ground above the greedy

exclusiveness of people who only care about money. Broaden your vision to see the total picture

of what you are offering. Fill as many needs as you can: creating beauty, efficiency, health, security, and livelihood for as many people as possible.

If you want to do really big things in life, then you have to have monumental enthusiasm and passion.

To be done right, every job requires passion.

No matter what your job is presently, do it with passion and magic will happen for real.

You will meet the right person and get

noticed. I have seen this over and over again. How much more passion is needed to be a

great entrepreneur? – Find a noble cause and get behind it with all your heart and soul.

8 | P a g e

Remember, “Without passion, life lacks luster.” Passion gives you the intestinal fortitude

you need to never give up. Breakthrough will not come without the

high price of dedication, persistence, and hard work.

For me, through all the challenges, my passion for turning my dreams into reality; something compelling and appealing kept me going and enabled me to get many other people to share in my vision.

HOW TO FIND YOUR PASSION

Try this: Start daydreaming about what you really

and truly love to do.

If you could do one thing in life, what would it be?

What do you get so caught up in the fun of doing that you lose track of time?

What would you enjoy doing so much you would do it even without getting paid?

What have you been doing when you were very satisfied with yourself?

What kinds of things put you in a “zone” and lead to peak experiences?

Believe me, if you could be somebody that you admire, who would it be?

Then be realistic!

10 | P a g e

“Doing what you love also means doing something you can do something you are good at.”

Think about your strengths – Find out what you are good at. Think about your unique talents and the things you have done that you are most proud of.

- What kinds of activities come easily and naturally to you?

When you think of work you love, think big! Anyway! Think of amazing accomplishments. Think of the joy and fulfillment you will derive from your work.

So, if your life is not what you want it to be, don’t be afraid to ask yourself whether you are doing what you want and what is right for you.

- No matter how old you are measure yourself against your own feelings, ambitions, and goals, not those of others.

11 | P a g e

That might mean standing up to friends,

family, and colleagues who think they know what is best for you.

Plug in to your own electricity. It might flow better through another socket.

“I am a great believer in luck and I find that the harder I work the more I have of it.”

– Thomas Jefferson 3rd President of the United State of America

VISION

Having a vision for something can be a very powerful force for accomplishment. Be sure yours is intact.

Seeing yourself as victorious is a big first step and should stay with you every step of the way.

Those who persevere, and those who

take risks, have a real chance of acquiring the MIDAS TOUCH .

Most importantly, never give up. And

don’t forget the learning curve.

LEADERSHIP and VISION

“… If you can see it, you can be it.”

Leaders have vision. They share a dream and direction that other people want to share and follow.

The leadership vision goes beyond your written organization mission statement and vision statement.

The vision of leadership permeates the workplace and is manifested in the actions, beliefs, values and goals of your organization’s leaders.

In fact, most businesses were started because the founder had a vision about what he or she could create.

Sharing that vision with others in a way that compels them to act is the secret to a successful leadership vision.

14 | P a g e

15 | P a g e

Entrepreneurs are different. They need more

than vision. They must have vision plus the power of focus, combined with their passion - the love of what they do!

They must be able to see the future and turn

their vision into a profitable reality. The reason most failed is because they lack

the power to turn what they see into a business that makes money.

16 | P a g e

Entrepreneur must develop that same power

of focus in the game of business and their personal life’s. They need the strength to keep going and also keep focused on achieving the vision.

The main job of the entrepreneur is to

define the mission, find and inspire the team, and lead.

For me, the security training and streetwise teaches me to work on the outside integrities; mission, leadership, and team.

While traditional school teaches me how to live and work on the inside integrities – Business!

The 3 elements that give business its

structure are: Mission, Team, and Leadership. True leaders take responsibility for the

success of the team and also understand that they must be taken responsible for any kind of failure.

17 | P a g e

These are the fundamentals necessary for a

vision that excites and motivates people to follow the leader.

The vision must:

- Clearly set organizational direction and purpose

- Inspire loyalty and caring through the involvement of all the employees.

- Display and reflect the unique strengthens, culture, values, beliefs and direction of the organization.

- Inspire enthusiasm, belief, commitment and excitement in company members.

- Help employees believe that they are part of something bigger than themselves and their daily work.

- Be regularly communicated and shared.

- Challenge people to outdo themselves, to stretch and reach.

relentlessly drive it to completion.”

– Jack Welch

HOW TO PREPARE

Being an entrepreneur is a big task. First, expand your focus.

Dive into your ideas and business in general, to study and learn the language of the business.

In the process, you’ll learn business in the real world, which is the best way.

“Gain education and experience before exposure.” – Aladesuru Adewale

As an entrepreneur, we need real-life

experience. Remember, you are not looking for careers.

You are looking for the best training ground. “Don’t work to earn, work to learn.” -- Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad

BRAND “A Brand is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well.”

– Jeff Bezos

Your reputation is the foundation of your brand. Guard your reputation with your life.

In business, your reputation is more important than your business.

“A Brand is priceless.”

- A brand is a promise from the entrepreneur to their customer.

A true brand starts in the soul of the

entrepreneur and connects with the soul of the customer. It is a relationship, much more than a transaction.

In some instances, it is love affair, a love affair that can go on for years or even decades.

21 | P a g e

www.aladesuru-walter-adewale.strikingly.com

22 | P a g e

If the soul of the entrepreneur is dishonest or

greedy – caring only about the customer’s money and not caring for the customer, the entrepreneur’s business will never evolve into a relationship.

It will remain a transaction. And transaction is a commodity.

The reason so few businesses become

brands are because most are primarily in the game of making money.

The more you care about your customer, the better chance you have of your business becoming a brand.

Even though, if your brand does not grow

into a Coca-Cola or McDonald’s, your customer’s will carry your brand in their heart.

23 | P a g e

GREATING A BRAND

My business education into the power of a brand began. I did not want to just start a business. I wanted to create my own brand.

To do that, I knew I had to study other great

brands and, at the same time, begin searching for what I stood for, what my customer’s wanted, and what I wanted for my customer’s.

To do this, I knew I had to begin finding out

about myself, and about what I love doing. I had to focus more on giving than receiving.

I had to find in my soul, in my heart what I wanted to give to the world.

Once I discovered what I wanted to give, I

knew I would find the soul of my business and maybe my brand.

Brand “A global product line with a brand leader.”

– Aladesuru Adewale

24 | P a g e

Note: It may have the makings of great brand

name, but a great name without a great company behind the brand is nothing.

Saved by the Brand! Not only can a brand worth a lot + the

owners of the brand but licenses of that brand can make a lot of money too.

For me, the power of a brand even worked

in getting a date with a beautiful woman who would one day become my wife….. Lolzzzzzzzz

25 | P a g e

THE POWER OF THE REAL BRAND

Capitalizing on your brand, people will pay

the price you ask for. Becoming a licensed mega brand gives

exclusively in a massive worldwide market. “Being a brand requires being tactical, as

well as being strategic.”

Knowing your brand and keeping it intact as you progress requires diligence and focus.

I’m big on focus because, when I had a

financial turnaround in the early 2000s, the number one lesson I learned is how important focus is.

The ultimate wake-up call…. Came! I got my act together, and I’m far more

successful now that I was then because my focus is definitely in place personally, professionally and with my brand.

26 | P a g e

Today, I don’t allow for distractions and,

because of that, I can manage a lot of business at once.

I remain intact during the rough time and

from that, moved forward and expanded with new vigor.

“Great Brand starts at the heart of the

organization, then permeate through everyone in the organization, and then go out to the public.”

“Branding – A way of life, not an event.”

27 | P a g e

BRAND EXPANSION

- Brand can expand, but the integrity must

remain the same. Key your brand standard in mind, and your

expansion will seem possible as well as gratifying. It doesn’t mean it will be easy.

Be true to yourself, which equals being true

to your brand. That’s the solid foundation that stands the test of time and tribulation, which will keep your brand flourishing.

28 | P a g e

WORKING YOUR BRAND

I’ve always been the spokesperson for my own brand. When your brand begins to build, you too will be faced with opportunities for greater recognition.

- Being in the public eye as a developer, started at a relatively young age for me.

I became accustomed to the attention, both

the positive and sometimes negative. But either way, it helped to establish the

brand. It helped people know who I was, and they began to recognize the Aladesuru name.

Eventually, I became well known outside of

Nigeria as well – Became a global citizen! When my first public presentation in 2012,

and nomination for 1000 Entrepreneur’s in Africa – 2015; became a globally event and my recognition factor took an even bigger leap.

29 | P a g e

My points are that I took a very active part in all of these opportunities – Because I know what it meant to the brand.

Never permit yourself to stay too long in your comfort zones.

You should welcome risk. If you’re not sure of your brand then you should get it straight before you do much talking.

You should be so sure that your brand is the best, that announcing it worldwide should be exciting, not daunting.

The Power of a BRAND!

PRESSURE

“If you want to be successful at anything in life, you have to be able to handle pressure.”

-- President Donald J. Trump United State of America

Another key to your success will be how

well you deal with pressure. A lot of times, stress have more to do with

focusing on what you love than with anything else. I have learned that it is important to focus on

the solution, not the problem. If you put all your energy into the problem,

how much passion do you have left for finding a solution?

My advice is to acknowledge the problem

and then move on to a more positive level. The more focused I am on doing things I

love, the less stress I experience. The fact is, not everybody is out to be

successful.

31 | P a g e

As a golfer, one of the things I love about sports is you see in a very small period of time whether an athlete folds or thrives under pressure.

Most of them fold, but there are some great

athletes that do better under pressure.

32 | P a g e

Look at Tiger Woods or Lees Westwood;

they seem to thrive under pressure.

In sports you can find this out quickly; whereas in the business world it may take ten or fifteen good years to know whether you can handle pressure.

I think it is vital that you know whether you

can withstand pressure. If you can’t, there is nothing wrong with that.

It is great to have a job you like, get married, raise some kids, and live a happy life.

33 | P a g e

That in itself is a form of success and is a

good thing, though it wouldn’t be for me….lolzzzzz. I have been through a lot. I have had great success. I have also had

some really tough times, like when my business collapsed in the early 2000s.

It was not exactly fun!

Even though it was not much fun and I never want to go through it again, in some ways it wasn’t so bad.

I slept very well, and I managed to keep my

faculties. It is not that I trained for it, I didn’t train for it.

34 | P a g e

However, that awful experience taught me

that I can handle pressure. “You have to love what you do, and you

have to be able to deal with pressure. There is an old saying: “Be careful who

you step on going up because you meet the same people coming down.”

It is true! Another way of dealing with business

pressure is to realize how fragile life is. I am a businessman. I find that a lot of

business people are streetwise, and people who are streetwise know that business really doesn’t matter.

It is just a game, and we are all here to have a good time while we can.

The truth is, it does not matter. Just be wise and have a great sense of humor because problems that may seem big to you really do not matter in the grand scheme of things.

35 | P a g e

Everyone has good times and bad times.

Everyone makes good deals and bad deals. You just have to live with that.

No matter what you do to avoid it, sometimes deals just do not work out. Rather than get depressed and down on yourself, I live by a little formula: “The formula of knowledge.”

This I learn through studying the history of

successes and failure in my industry; from great minds; likes of The America President, Donald J. Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Steve Job, Tony O. Elumelu, Brian Tracy, John Maxwell and many more.

36 | P a g e

Using this formula, I learn not only from the good times but also from the bad times.

The formula of knowledge is the best way to learn because learning from someone else’s mistakes is faster and easier than making them yourself.

Because of the way things go in life, lots of times life force you to learn from your own mistakes, but it is much better if you can learn from others’ mistakes rather than your own.

Another thing: “If you want to be

successful, you can never, ever quit.” You can never, ever give up.

Sometimes you will feel like giving up.

www.aladesuru-walter-adewale.strikingly.com

37 | P a g e

It may seem impossible to try again – that is

the most important time, because it is the time when you begin to learn important information about what you are doing – information you need to succeed.

You have to be patient as well as enthusiastic when it comes to your goals. Think Big, but be realistic.

You will always encounter obstacles; in fact,

it is a good idea to count on them. See them as a challenge instead of an

obstacle and you will find that you have the ability to move beyond them.

It is most important to be tenacious – do not

ever give up. Just keep moving - pushing forward, keeps your goals clear, and don’t give into discouragement, any form of distractions or setbacks.

“If you want to be successful in business and

in life, never, ever give up. Never Quit! You can never be successful if you give up.”

-- Aladesuru Adewale, mastermind!

38 | P a g e

Part of the problem is that we want to avoid

painful situations like not getting a loan, losing a deal or a customer you have been after, or even losing your business or your wife.

As I said before, you can’t let this stuff hold

you back. Do not think about the pain and just keep going, like the great athletes do.

Every day people face a lot worse in life.

Life is not always going to turn out the way you expect.

39 | P a g e

Remember, every day is a new adventure.

There are no guarantees. You can never know what is going to come

at you, and sometimes it is pretty horrible. You have to be strong to survive, and you can never give up in without a fight.

“Quitters do not stand a chance.”

“Quitters don’t win, Winners don’t Quit!”

40 | P a g e

TAKE ACTION!!!

I t is good to Dream Big!

“You will got nowhere unless you create big dreams, but you must have the courage to make

those dreams real.”

41 | P a g e

Once you set your goals start looking for

opportunities to start acting on them. If you hesitate when an opportunity presents

itself to you, it may be the fear of failure that makes you procrastinate.

Break through this fear, for if you make a habit of procrastinating then all your goals become empty promises that will never be fulfilled.

Always keep your promises to yourself by making a habit of acting on your goals.

Do not wait around for the “right time” or

until you are perfect. It will never happen. Start right away.

42 | P a g e

You will learn more from doing than you

would learn from anything else. You have to get the knowledge, you have to

get into a field that you really like, and you have to go out there and kick ass.

That is all you have to do. Get out there and go for it!

BECOME WEALTHY!!!!

There are simple process you can follow to become financially independent.

It consist of a series of things you can do to increase the probabilities of success in your financial life and to assure that more of the luck factors work for you in making more money.

First, begin by setting it as a goal to become financial independent.

- Get serious!

- - Stop fooling around!

master of your own fate … “

45 | P a g e

PITCH

Quick Pitch “ Learn to set a particular level or standard; it

is critical to raising money!”

46 | P a g e

First , you must know what to say, and this

where branding and planning come into play.

Learn to pitch your business quickly. The better you get at pitching, the better you

and your business. The more you pitch, the more you learn and the better you become.

The better you are, the better your relationships.

They call it a quick pitch because it must be “short and sweet.”

Like most of us in the game, investors are busy people and they will have no time and little patience for long, boring sales pitches.

Get to the point, and get to the point quickly.

47 | P a g e

Guide to the Quick Pitch

Follow this when designing your business: Allow no more than two [2] minutes to pitch

each of the four [4] points.

1. Project - What is the project? - Why is it unique? - Why is the business needed? - Why will customers love your products

and services?

2. Partners

- Who are you? - Who are your partners? - What are the educational bi-ground? - What experience do you have? - How qualified are you in making it a

success?

48 | P a g e

3. Financing

- What is the total cost of the project? - How much debt and how much equity is

there? - Are partners investing their own money or

other forms? - What is the investors’ return and reward

for their risk? - What are the tax consequences? - Who is your CEO or Accounting firm? - Who is responsible for investor

communications? - What is the investors’ exist?

4. Management

- Who is running your company? - What is their experience? - What are their track records? - Have they ever failed? - How does their experience relate to your

industry?

49 | P a g e

- Do you believe this is the strongest

management team you can assemble?

- Can you pitch them with confidence?

Once you have briefly covered the four [4] points, shut up. Ask for questions, listen, and respond with brief answers.

Remember, to ask questions more than give

answers. You should also be asking questions of the potential investor, questions such as:

- Does this project interest you?

- Have you ever invested in a startup

project?

- What are your concerns?

- How soon?

www.aladesuru-walter-adewale.strikingly.com

50 | P a g e

If they are really interested, then break out

the business plan and other relevant information. Remember, the person who talks the most,

loses. The person, who listen the most, wins. Listening is a sign of respect. Being

interested rather than trying to be interesting is also a sign of respect.

Be respectful, and you will win, not only in

business, but in life. NOTE

Seek advice from consultants, accountants and attorney when preparing your pitch.

It is fabulous education. If they are sharp

consultants, accountants and attorneys, you will be forming great relationship.

They can also introduce you to other great people.

Take your time and be picky when selecting them.

51 | P a g e

Begin asking for money before you need the

money. “I’m starting a business in a few months.” Brief describe the business and the way

you’re excited about it. After a minute, ask question such as:

- Are you interested?

- Would you like to hear/know more?

If the answer is YES, then ask, “May I call you when we are ready to start talking to potential investor’s?

If they say YES, take their name and contact details and keep your promise to call them – in the future, not the next day.

52 | P a g e

Remember The Rule “It is easier to ask for money when you

don’t need the money.” You don’t ever want to sound desperate and

needy, even if you are. Don’t give them sub stories or tales of woe.

Avoid exaggeration and promise of

excessive returns. Investors are more likely to believe someone

who is conservative and cautions, rather than excessive and cookie.

So start early, practice, don’t over-promise

and obey these rules for raising capital.

53 | P a g e

“To raise money, you have to demonstrate that you can create values.” – Tony O. Elumelu, C0N

54 | P a g e

INSTINCTS

For me, I really believe that if you are good and you are smart, you can go with your gut. You need to go against the tide.

In some of my past dealings have made, I

went against everybody believes. My actions were very counterintuitive.

I pressed on anyway, because I felt in my gut that this was going to be big – and after all, what did I have to lose by trying?

The rest is history … lolzzzzz You have to know what you are doing. You

have to have confidence in yourself and confidence to know that what you are doing is right.

You will have your biggest successes when you go against the tide.

Many people get consultants and pay them a lot of money. That is a waste of time and money.

55 | P a g e

By the time the consultant comes back with

the report, the deal is dead or it has gone to someone else – and, in any event, you should not be in a business where you need to rely on consultants.

- Know your business inside and out, get all the facts, ask people their opinions, and then go with your gut.

We all have instincts.

56 | P a g e

The most important thing is to know how to

use them. You may have superb academic credentials, but if you don’t use your instincts, you might have a hard time getting to and staying at the top.

Too many people have stopped trusting their

instincts. They cut off a natural sense that we are all born with.

Nobody can explain exactly why or how an

instinct works. Sometimes, we get a gut feeling about what

we should or should not do although we can’t put a finger on the exact reasons.

Most successful business people know they

have good instincts and rely on them for making brilliant decisions but rarely understand how it works.

Scientists think that our brains pick up on

and somehow perceive the underlying patterns in our daily activities.

57 | P a g e

Then, when we are facing a new situation,

we can predict the result because we have seen similar patterns believe.

Scientists also say that there are nerve cells in the gut that are connected to the intuitive part of the brain. When something is right or wrong, I actually feel it in my gut.

For example, within a meeting someone, I

realized that I had a very positive gut feeling about him/her and that I would feel comfortable working with him/her.

58 | P a g e

WORD’S ARE GOLDEN

This is another very important thing: “When you shake somebody’s hand, go with

it. It’s very important. Shaking hands with someone means you are making a deal.”

You are giving your word. If you back out

after you have shaken hands on a deal, then people will never trust you again.

Go with your gut!!! Take chances!!! If you think you have the ingredients that

you need, take chances, because your biggest successes will happen when you go against the tide; when you take a risk and it work.

Going with your instincts takes some

practice, but first you must decide that you are going to tune in to them.

59 | P a g e

Instincts are a part of every highly charged

situation that maters a lot to you and tuning in to them requires extreme focus, like that of a golfer navigating a tough bunker or an accountant trying to pass the CPA exam.

In these do-or-die situations, there is not

enough time to be 100 percent logical. That is too slow.

When time is short and you have big stakes in the game, you have to go with your gut.

A blend of logic and instincts will produce

the best decisions. Practice listening to your instincts. Play with

the skill, and test it out on small decisions. Learn to trust it.

You will acquire a real edge in both your business and your personal life.

Use this skill to choose who you date and

who you trust to babysit your children – which are truly important decisions.

60 | P a g e

Many things are hidden from us that we cannot articulate logically, but somehow we know they are there. We have a vague feeling that cannot be explained.

This feeling in and of itself is information enough for us to take notice and consider. You can know whether the feeling is good or bad.

“ If you have a good feeling about something, go ahead with it. If

the feelings are bad, proceed with caution.” - President Donald J. Trump

United States of America.

Your instincts are there to guide you. Use them!!!

61 | P a g e

TIMING!

An instinct has a lot to do with timing.

“You have to be patient and wait for your instincts to tell you the best time to make your

move.” I have waited for many years to see some

things happen. It can be very difficult to wait, especially for someone like me who is impatient to get things done in record time.

62 | P a g e

To make really good decisions you have to

learn to wait until the time is right. This is especially true of negotiations.

“Players with the skill of great timing

are almost invincible.”

Lorena Ochoa

By waiting and watching, then moving only

when my instincts told me the time was right, I made a lot of money.

And I also got to know much great and brilliant family, who has become terrific friends.

63 | P a g e

You can make friends by making great deals

– a wonderful side benefit. When you make decisions, you have to use

all of your abilities, your brain, your gut, and your analytical powers.

My advice is to go with your gut, but do not

bet the ranch on it. Be cautious. Get all the facts, because there is always a reason why everyone else is going the other way.

64 | P a g e

“Dare to be different. Dare to be unique. And dare to take a chance on something that is

unknown.” – Bill Zanker

After you have gotten all the information related to the decision at hand that you can get, take a break.

Do something unrelated to your decision. Take a nap, watch TV, and jog/walk around. Give your subconscious a chance to toss

things around. Then come back to your decisions. You will be much more instinctual.

“When you become knowledgeable about your field, you start picking up the intangible cues

and hints about events and people.” - Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad!

Entrepreneurship

“The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.”

– John Scullery

What is the secret to success? I have always thought this to be an odd

question, because the secret to success is about as mysterious as that behind failure.

But over the years, I have come to realize

that although most people understand what you need to do to become successful, many people either do not understand how the process works or they simply become discouraged before they truly achieve anything.

Having a dream helps. But beyond the

burning desire to succeed, certain traits define successful entrepreneurs, namely: foresight, resilience and creativity.

68 | P a g e

These characteristics tip the balance

between success and failure. They are the traits that drive a passionate

problem – solver, one prepared to make decisions and learn from errors in judgement.

“They are traits that have helped me

transform my dream into a successful business enterprise that stretches across the continent.”

– Tony O. Elumelu, CON

SEE THE UNSEEN, THEN PREPARE

The modern world is evolving at a rapid

rate, 8-inch tablets, the internet, satellite communication, high speed data transfers, even FACEBOOK – these are things that our parents would never have imagined would be possible.

Imagine how successful you would be if you could go back in time with the knowledge you have now.

70 | P a g e

This is why, in preparing for the future, the

successful entrepreneur or entrepreneurial employee must possess an ability to see beyond the challenges of today.

This skill – and it a skill, not a merely talent

– is crucial to put you in the position to take advantage of occurrences others have not prepared for, thinking beyond the immediate hurdles that you face.

There is no time like the present. Positioning

one’s self for the future accomplishment must start today, with a vision and a strategy for executing toward the unseen.

Again, it is important to point out that ability

to prepare for the future is not a talent unique to only a few.

While it is true that some are better able to

employ strategic vision, the entrepreneurial mind can also be trained to see the future and, at the right

71 | P a g e

time, achieve a goal that has been identified well in advance.

“Resilience is one’s ability to go the distance, to

persevere through daunting challenges, to bounce back when things go wrong.”

“Creativity is about looking at a familiar thing from a different perspective, and pulling resources together in a unique way to achieve

results.” To me, success can be defined as being able

to make strategic choices between options. It is hard work that produces memorable

outcomes. Everyone dreams; it is the easiest thing to

do. But taking that little idea; planting and then nurturing it into a tangible business – that is a lot more difficult.

72 | P a g e

EXECUTION This is the energy and discipline that you

apply to translating a dream, an idea, a vision, to reality which is the defining force.

Timing is everything. As the adage goes,

“The early bird catches the worm.” This is as true in any business as it is in

nature. The timeliness of an act executed is just as important, if not more so, than the act itself.

How you begin is just as important as how

you finish, when it comes to execution. In other words, “Planning is as integral to

execution as discipline.” Successfully executing a project within the

allotted period can end up saving you a lot in the way of human resources and revenue flow.

73 | P a g e

CONCENTRATION This is when a man gets it into his head to

do something, and when he exclusively occupies himself in that design, he must succeed, whatever the difficulties.

Single-mindedness of purpose, total

concentration on the goal, and the use of these qualities against people less focused, people in a state of distraction – such an arrow will find its mark every time and overwhelm the enemy.

Concentrate on a single goal, a single task,

and beat it into submission. Much energy is saved, and more power is

attained, by affixing yourself to a single, appropriate source of power.

“The single patron appreciates your loyalty

and becomes dependent on your services; in the long run the master serves the slave.”

74 | P a g e

Power itself always exists in concentrated

forms. In any organization it is inevitable for a

small group to hold the strings. And often it is not those with the titles.

In the game of power, only the fool flits

about without fixing his target. You must find out who controls the operations.

Who is the real director behind the scenes? It is enough to strike oil ounce – your wealth

and power are assured for a life time.

75 | P a g e

FACTS QUOTE

“You cannot hit two targets with one arrow. If your thoughts stray, you miss the enemy’s heart. Mind and arrow must become one.

Only with such concentration of mental and physical power can your arrow hit the target and

pierce the heart.” – The Arrow!

76 | P a g e

THESE ARE DANGERS IN CONCENTRATION

Dispersal is often suitable for the weaker

side; it is, in fact, a crucial principle of warfare.

- When fighting a stronger army, concentration your forces only makes you an easier target better to dissolve into the scenery and frustrate your enemy with the elusiveness of your presence.

Tying yourself to a single source of power

has one preeminent danger: If that person dies, leaves, or falls from grace, you suffer.

In cases when you may need protection,

then, it is often wise to entwine yourself around several sources of power.

Such a move would be especially prudent in

periods of great tumult and violent change, or when your enemies are numerous.

www.aladesuru-walter-adewale.strikingly.com

77 | P a g e

“The more patrons and masters you serve

the less risk you run if one of them falls from power.” Such dispersion will even allow you to play one off against the other.

Even if you concentrate on the single source of power, you still must practice caution and prepare for the day when your master or patron is no longer there to help you.

Finally, being too single-minded in purpose

can make you an intolerable bore, especially in the arts. Interest yourself in everything.

Diffusion was the source of power. But such

genius is rare and the rest of us are better off erring on the side of intensity.

As a businessman, I have realized that “to

whom much is given, much is expected.” See yourself as having a lot already, and keep your integrity intact.

It’s the best way to pave your way to a

comprehensive success.

78 | P a g e

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

One thing will always emphasize is the

importance of passion. “If you don’t love what you’re doing, your

margin for success is significantly reduced, and tough times will be much tougher to get through.”

Passion gives a resiliency that is necessary to achieve great things.

The second point I will bring up when it

comes to success is that you cannot give up. “You have to keep going and moving

forward, no matter what is happening around you or to you. It’s a form of positive thinking that is very powerful.”

A word that comes to mind as a result of this

approach is “indomitable.”

79 | P a g e

I could overcome some great setbacks just by being obstinate.

I refuse to give in or give up. To me, that’s integrity of purpose that

cannot be defeated or interfered with to any significant level.

Being steadfast in your intentions can reap great results.

“Integrity is the essence of everything successful.” - Richard Buckminster Fuller

80 | P a g e

Another word I like to think of along with

indomitable is “tenacious”, they are almost interchangeable when it comes to business.

Being tenacious will make you indomitable

in the long run – Ask me How! Remember, “The old tortoise versus the hare

story still prevails.” With today’s globalization, I will emphasize

the importance of paying attention to global events. As entrepreneur’s, our position requires us

to be more alert, more careful, and more empathetic them ever. Power is at its best when it’s used in the most compassionate way possible.

When it comes to business success, it is

equally important to know that success caries the same sort of responsibility. Always know that you can be topped and that you can be toppled over.

Keeping that in mind will guarantee that you

are in your best form for competition.

81 | P a g e

Even if you are currently the top gun,

pretend that you are the underdog. It will improve your insight as well as your vision.

Be in charged

An empowering thought!!! It’s also a real possibility. If it seem

you’re being thrown curve balls every day, that means it’s time for some strategy.

In short, you need to be bigger than your problems are in order to handle what’s being delivered.

82 | P a g e

Here are a few things to think about:

1. What is your creative capital? Many of us have hobbies, knowledge, and

experiences that can be turned into something useful in the marketplace. Give this some comprehensive thought.

2. Are you Lucky? Some seems to be naturally lucky, “luck –

ability to turn bad luck into good luck.”

3. Be proactive. Don’t be passive or fearful. Just taking the

next step can get you to better and even great places. Start today!!!

4. Be objective and strive to be your own counselor

I listen to others, but I know the final decision is mine and I hold myself responsible. That in itself is empowering.

83 | P a g e

5. If you haven’t given history enough

attention, start doing so today1 Also, realize you are in a pivotal time in

history, and see it as a challenge as well as an opportunity.

“Creative Capital” deserves a bit more explanation. In essence, one way to become rich is to be able to move an idea into your asset column.

Those people who’ve had an innovative idea

and put it into production, whether it was for an automobile or for post. It’s, have been able to move their invention from “idea” to “asset” in a very big way.

NOTE: A lot of great ideas get discarded before

they’re developed, and some deserve to be discarded before they take up too much time and end up being more of a problem than a solution.

This is where objectivity and research are

useful.

84 | P a g e

“It’s important to consider that you could

have something to offer that would be viable as well as valuable.”

In the current economy of the 21st Centuries

many people are being challenged to find alternative venues for income. That can be an exciting time if you approach the situation in a positive light.

It’s also empowering to think of being an

inventor – what doesn’t exist yet that could or should exist?

85 | P a g e

That way of thinking will open you up to the

possibilities that are definitely there. One important consideration is to make sure you define yourself instead of allowing others to define you.

They will limit you when instead you should

see that your possibilities are limitless. When I was done and in financial ruin in the

early 2000s, I took control by refusing to believe or accept that I was finished.

That’s not the definition I chose for myself,

which gave me a resiliency that probably surprised a lot of people.

Another point to consider is that when you

allow others to define you, you become a bit of a puppet in their hands.

Be very wary of this kind of strategy,

because some people need to win by getting their competition out of the way instead of being superior to their competition.

86 | P a g e

- Be your own barometer of success.

We all experience failures, I do too, but that doesn’t make us failures, even if others say so.

Take control of the circumstances by seeing it in a different light.

Each of us has a different route to our

destiny and challenges are part of that path. Keep your self-image strong and intact by defining yourself in the best way possible – every day, no matter what the circumstances might be.

87 | P a g e

Know from the inside out that you have the

power to succeed and you will. That’s taking control. Your creative capital might be waiting to be

discovered.

“Most powerful is he who has himself in his own power.” -- Seneca

88 | P a g e

WORKING TOGETHER!!!

Teamwork and individual responsibility combine to create a force that will make you for more viable in the marketplace.

When everyone works that way, success is much easier to attain.

If you are an entrepreneur, you’ll find there

are times when you are your own team. I’m surprised sometimes to notice that

people can actually be working against themselves.

89 | P a g e

Pay attentions to that possibility and cooperate with yourself. Make sure you are airtight by combining the forces within yourself to create a whole. Your efforts will automatically become more effective.

Remember, “The use of individual and some significant

team effort can be a wonderfully effective combination.”

Thanks!

See you at the Top!!!
