You can now apply another color scheme to the presentation

Select the color scheme you like.

You can apply to all the slides or to one slide.

Be careful with this so that if you choose just one selected slide there is so much of a contrast the viewer misses the message on the slide and the presentation.

Go to the Format menu, select Background.

You can manipulate the background and other elements.

You can select the option of more colors and fill effect for the slide

This is a “color wheel” that can be used to select other colors.

By clicking inside, you are shown the color that will be used.

You can move the cursor around the wheel by using the mouse, left click and hold, then move to a color.

For the fill effect, you have different options.

This can help you create a very effective presentation.

Again be careful not to overpower the audience with the effects.

The gradient tool lets you select two colors to work with.

The colors that you are given are within the color scheme you selected.

That is so the colors will match and blend.

Animation should be used sparingly. If you animate the information, the audience will be entertained not informed.

Slide transition is how the presentation moves, slide-to-slide.

You can set the speed of the transition.

Slow, medium and fast.

You have the option of sound. Like animation, use sparingly.

You can set how the transition takes place, by mouse click or timed. This is done by seconds
