O Being promoted beyond what the Schemes provide for
O Tolerating misdemeanours on the part of staff or being
permissive of misconducts
O Allowing unfettered access to hospital's properties and
assets
O Living in the Hospital's quarters and paying pittance and
not paying for bills
O Being allowed to use Hospital facilities without being
asked to pay even when such services are
commercialized

repairs or purchase items for the Hospital without
having to question the veracity of the claims and

O Regular payment of salaries and allowances were not
seen as staff welfare
O Ignoring government circulars that seek to check the
excesses of workers
O Being paid salaries and allowances outside what are
prescribed in books

brilliant or favour to the learned but time and chance
happen to them all” (Eccl. 911)
O Those whose kernel has been shelled by the
benevolence spirit must not fail to acknowledge that
others are not so lucky
O Building equitable society means that the interests of
the under-served must be protected

O From the Message of Abd Ru Shin:
Whoever loves money never has money enough, whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. No earthly wealth would suffice to guarantee eternity.
Therefore awake and learn to know the Laws in Creation! No worldly cleverness will help you in this matter, nor the small amount of technical knowledge derived through observation!
Something so meagre will not suffice for the path your soul must take! You must lift your eyes far beyond this earth and recognise where your path leads after this earthly life, so that at this earth time you may become aware of why and for what purpose you are here on earth!

being given the high task of bringing succour to the
infirm!

In the words of Abd Ru Shin:
O “You may journey through Creation consciously!
However, you must not harm others in order to satisfy
your personal desires. Live accordingly, and you will
then be happy and wander upwards into the Luminous
Gardens of your God, there to help in joyful activity with
the further and eternal development of this Creation!”
Further He says:
O “You may enjoy everything here in Creation, you may
taste of everything, but it must not bring harm to your
fellow-man! Again, this only occurs if you become a
slave to your desires!”

How do you harm your neighbour you may ask?
“It is not difficult to grasp this aright, for when your
perception is calm you are quite well aware of when,
where and how you harm others.
All that remains for you to do in this matter is to become
clear as to everything which falls into the category of
desiring! However, you have already been told this clearly
in the God’s Commandments!”

O In the Hospital you are to find many men of God,
the laity and the religious even among the leaders
of Unions involved in picketing during strikes.
O What does the Message of the LORD teach you
then?

O You have treated every Divine Message granted you as
something separate, something that remains outside
yourselves, which you accustom yourselves to
approach with timid reserve!
O ‘Religion and daily life have always remained also for
you two separate things! You always stood beside it,
never in it!
O The effects of the Laws of Creation explained in the
parables remained absolutely incomprehensible to you
because you never looked for them in those parables.

O ‘God’s Messages are precious hints which you
need! Without knowing and obeying them you are
lost!
O Therefore you must not place them as something
sacred in glass shrine, to gaze upon them in awe
and trembling only on Sundays, or to retreat there
in fear and distress in order to receive strength!
O You wretched ones, you shall not only venerate
the Message, but make use of It!

you are in Sunday attire, but only with the fist hardened
by daily toil, which never shames or debases, but only

spends his time on earth only in contemplation!
