PRINCIPALS MESSAGE
This morning I had the pleasure of accompanying our two School Captains,
Dean Vickery and Stelios Charnas, to the Remembrance Day service at Alma
Park. I was extremely proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with these two
fine young gentlemen as we remembered those who had made the supreme
sacrifice for us. As always these students presented themselves confidently
and appropriately.
Please note that the next P&C meeting will be a week earlier on
25th November commencing at 5:00pm . The P&C will also be holding a
working bee on Sunday 29th November starting at 8:00am. Remember
“Many hands make light work.”
On Wednesday 25th November, the stu-
dents will be taking part in a free aquatic
safety program called “Bush to Beach.”

LOOK WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING IN LOWER DIVISION
Bella
Students and staff were treated to a
performance by the Chamber music trio from
the New England Conservatorium last Friday.
The musicians demonstrated playing the
cello, flute and piano. It was a wonderful
workshop and the children singing a round in
three parts was delightful.

LOOK WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING IN UPPER DIVISION
Remembrance Day Ceremony
This morning we went to the Remembrance Day Ceremony in Alma Park. We laid a wreath at the Memorial Gates and listened to all the speakers and the bugle. We showed respect for all lives lost in battle and all who came back during a minutes silence.

Armidale High Orientation
I had my Armidale High Orientation day last Wednesday and it
was a very educational and fun day. First we had an orientation
in the auditorium and met our teachers and our Year 9 peer
support leaders. We had orienteering around the grounds and
were taught some of the rich history of Armidale High. After
orienteering we sat down in the cooking class room for a finger
bun and watermelon. Following recess we finished our
orienteering and did our taster lesson, mine was Computers.
Then we went to have a sausage sandwich in the auditorium and
some watermelon, we were given options to look at for our
selective categories and after that we went home.

On Wednesday 25th November the P&C will be
running a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE Book fair. It will run
for one day only from 1-1.45pm and then from 3pm to 4pm.
