REVIVE SULLIVAN COUNTY! Community Worship Service
Sunday, September 27th, 10:30am Sullivan Downtown Gym
Notice: FBCS will be joining the other area churches for this community service. There will be NO morning services here that day. Sunday evening
activities will be at their normal times here. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to be a part of revival in our area.
The Community Service will be followed by a week of evangelism and prayer throughout our county!

Christmas Cantata If you are interested in participating in the Christmas Cantata, whether through singing or acting in the drama, please see Gayle McCullough to let her know soon. Practices for the adult choir are Monday,
September 14th at 6:00pm and/or Sunday, September 20th at 7:15pm. Please try to attend one of these dates.
Worship in the Park Sunday, September 13th at 11:00am, worship service will be under the large shelter at the Farmersburg Park. There will be a cookout following the service. Meat, drinks & table
service will be provided. The sign-up sheets are out at the Welcome Center for desserts and side dishes.

Moving On Up Party! We are having a moving Up Party/Carnival TODAY during Children’s Church. Any teachers/helpers who participate in the 252 ministry are welcome to participate as well! There is a small petting zoo and carnival type activities. On Sunday, September 6th, children will then move up into their new
Children’s Church classes based on their grade levels. For any questions, please see Alice Cox.
Come join a Bible study, for girls only, with the next one being Monday, September 14th. This group will be held once a month now that school has started. Group time is from
7-8:00pm here at the church. If you are interested in participating, or for more information, please call Samantha at 812-201-4295.

Sullivan County Recovery Group Due to change in the leadership, at this time, the group felt it was best to reunite with the group in Sullivan. The meetings will be held at the Southside Gospel Church in Sullivan at 4:00pm. Contact Melanie Bailey for further information at 812-230-9365.
National Recovery Month and Walk Saturday, September 12 at 10:00am at the Southwest corner of
the Sullivan Courthouse Square.
American Heritage Girls Ministry FAITH SERVICE FUN
American Heritage Girls is a faith-based leadership & character development ministry that is coming to FBCS & Sullivan County. FBCS has voted to be a Charter Organization for AHG, and we are recruiting
volunteers to serve in this awesome multi-level scouting ministry. If you are interested in helping girls ages 5 to 18 become more Christ-centered, this may be the perfect place to use your gifts and talents. Volunteer & Girl Interest Forms are available at the Welcome Center. Please contact Sara Plunkett-Grissom, Troop Coordinator, at [email protected] or (812) 562-0083, if you feel called to serve in this new ministry.
