Pastoral Prayer followed by The Lord's Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

OPPORTUNITIES 4th Sunday Hunger/UMCOR: Haiti Solar Ovens Solar ovens replace smoky wood and charcoal fires with healthy and safe solar cooking, offer solar solutions for environmental devastation by the charcoal industry and increase food and water security for impoverished families. Can you think of a better gift for a family in need?? August Pantry: Snack Baggies for Kids’ Food Basket Imagine packing 1,000 sack lunches a day...with none of the containers, bag-gies, etc. coming back to you. Kids’ Food Basket always needs baggies and this month we are concentrating on zip-lock snack bags (the ones that open horizon-tally). Can we supply at least one day of baggies (1000) or more? That is the challenge, Central United Methodist Church!!
