MINISTRY CORNER – cOMMUNICATIONS This ministry is responsible for ensuring that all members of the congregation and

the community are aware of the vision, missions, programs, goals and actions to

which God call HOPE Lutheran Church. This is done by developing a variety of ways

to reach members and others in the community. This might include electronic

mailing lists, newsletters, flyers, brochures and other media that is effective. They

also plan and coordinate advertisements and other notices that will inform the

connecting at UW-Eau Claire,

IT TAKES A VILLAGE The 14th annual “It Takes a Village”

concert will be held at Ezekiel at 4

pm on Sunday, February 12. Four

River Falls church choirs, the River

Falls Community Choir and the Croix

Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus will

each present two numbers and then

join as a 100+ voice mass choir for

two final numbers. An update on the

Ganthier, Haiti school will be given

and a free-will offering taken. A

dessert reception will follow the

concert. All proceeds will go to the

students and teachers of the

Ganthier school.

Journey House

will be having a Quilt

Auction on Friday, Feb.

24th at 6:00 pm. The

night will have live music,

a chili dinner and more!

HOPE’s Daytime Book Group will

not meet in January or February, but

will resume on March 27th at

noon in the Eidskog Room.

Dancing on Broken Glass by

K. Hancock is our book for March.
