District launches Returning Student Enrollment Verification process

This month, parents of students who are currently enrolled in Richland One and will be returning to a Richland One school for the 2016-2017 school year need to complete the new online en-rollment verification form.

Parents of currently enrolled/returning students can access the link to the enrollment verification form through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, an online school-to-home communication system for parents to check grades, attendance, etc.

A link to the Parent Portal can be found on the district’s website, www.richlandone.org, or go to https://powerschool.richlandone.org/public/. Parents should contact their child’s school to get de-tails about setting up a Parent Portal account. The district is asking parents of currently enrolled/returning students to complete the enrollment verification form by May 31.

The new online verification process provides parents with a quick and easy way to update their address, phone number and other in-formation, including emergency contacts. Parents also will be able to complete the forms for bus transportation and student medical information. The verification process form can be completed us-ing a computer, tablet or smartphone with Internet access. District schools and the Registrar’s Office will make computers available for parents and guardians without computers or Internet access.
