We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.

We are so thankful for everything each of them do for us and how they lead us with the Word of God. Upward BasketballUpward Basketball and Cheerleading registration is open! This is available for all K4 - 6th graders. The early bird registration fee is available until October 1st. Tasting Grace Ladies, on Saturday, October 21st, at 10:00 AM we will have our TASTING GRACE – FALL EDITION! We have chili, jalapeño cornbread, and learning to make a pumpkin roll all on the menu. We will meet in the YAC Auditorium kitchen. Sign-up at the Welcome Center today! Hope to see you there.
Second at the Fair Join us on Sunday, October 15th, as we serve at the Georgia National Fair in Perry. You may help at the Baby Changing Station with us from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, we have already reserved this spot. You may also volunteer at the Wordless Book Tent. Staff Anniversary On behalf of the pastors and staff we would like to say congratulations to Mr. Chris Lones on three years of faithful ministry here at Second Baptist Church! He serves as our Director of Community Outreach. God has richly blessed us with Mr. Chris! Make sure to express your appreciation as you see him here on campus.
Boston Mission Trip We have a team going to Worcester, Massachusetts, October 8th - 15th to join with Josh and Courtney Chambers as they are in the early stages of church planting. We ask you to prayerfully consider giving a financial contribution to help with their efforts as well as praying they impact those in Worcester. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Nicaragua Mission Trip We have an opportunity to partner with Because We Care Ministries and missionaries Don & Pam Gillette in Somotillo, Nicaragua July 14th – July 21st, 2018. We will have an interest meeting on October 22nd at 5:00 PM, before our evening worship service in room A107. This is an entry level mission trip and anyone who has completed 7th grade is available to participate. If you have any questions please contact Jason Sikes at [email protected]. New Deacons Last Sunday evening we voted for three new deacons to begin serving here at Second Baptist Church. These men are: Russ Alford, Ben Nash, and Jack Nash. We will ordain Ben Nash tonight during the evening service. Thank you for serving.
