Analyse Hurricane Impact on Oil and Gas in Interactive Map

New data layers within the Interactive Map allow you to analyze the potential impact of the U.S hurricane season on the production, transportation and price of gas and oil in the Gulf of Mexico. The new data includes: oil and gas production by zone in the Gulf of Mexico from BOEM.gov; a historical storm archive back to 1990 and easy comparison of active hurricanes with past hurricanes.

Tank Terminals Oil Storage Data Added to Interactive Map

Data from Tank Terminals, a comprehensive global database of more than 3,796 commercially available oil and refined product storage terminals, has been added to the Interactive Map. The enhancement

gives you in-depth, independent data on the storage and transhipment of crude, petroleum products and more, allowing you to seize opportunities faster and maximise your profits through a greater understanding of the supply chain.

New Oil Refinery Configuration View Offers Deeper Insight

The new Oil Refinery Configuration page provides a detailed view of the individual units that make up an individual oil refinery. Use the page to gain a deeper insight into the events at specific refineries in context and see how these events may impact the market and influence your trading strategy.

The new Oil Refinery Module in Interactive Map allows you to build and aggregate global oil refining forecasts, helping you to manage risk and increase your profitability. Get Direct Answers to Crude Oil Spots Searches

The new feature ‘Crude Oil Spots’ available in Answers will allow you to search for World Oil and Regional Oil Prices and also allows you to compare crude oil prices against other crude oil commodities and against Indices. Searching for ‘Brent spot’ or ‘Dubai oil prices’ will present an Answers section on the search page with live streaming prices for the commodities. Also, searching for ‘Brent vs WTI’ or ‘Azeri Light vs FTSE 2012’ will present an Answers section on the search page with the comparison on a rebase chart.

New LNG Tracker With Live Data Provides a Faster Market View

LNG content in Thomson Reuters Eikon has been streamlined into the single LNG Tracker display which includes live streaming data to give you a global market overview, faster. LNG Tracker covers prices, volumes, up-to-date news and all major Waterborne content for imports, landed prices and netbacks. Other useful features include a live map where you can track LNG vessels and monitor regassification and liquifaction terminals across the globe. The update is designed to save you valuable time spent searching or creating a flexsheet by bringing all the data you need together in one place.

CONTENT ENHANCEMENTS View Globex Calculated Trades for All CME Exchanges

Globex Calculated Trade prices can now be viewed in FID 372 IRGPRC with the associated volume in FID 372 IRGVOL when FID 374 IRGCOND is flagged with “GCT”. This provides you with visibility on the price at which the commodity traded as a result of a spread trade, offering more efficient access to the market data you need.

Implied Quote Indicator Available for NYM/CMX/DMX Futures and Spreads

You can now view dedicated enumerations to flag implied quotes for top of the book for NYMEX/COMEX/DUBAI exchanges in FID 3264 PRC_QL3. This update provides you with essential insight if the top of the book is made up of an implied or regular bid or asks, and helps to inform your trading decisions.

ERCOT Spreads Added to US Power Menu

You can now view and work with spread data from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) more efficiently thanks to a recent enhancement to Thomson Reuters Eikon. We have added prices previously available on RICs to the existing 0#USPOWER-SPD menu, to further complement our detailed US Power coverage and help you find the data you need faster.

US EIA PADD Region Import Data Added

Weekly and Monthly data series showing the amount of crude oil imports by country coming into different U.S Petroleum Administration for Defense Districts (PADD) regions have been added to your Thomson Reuters desktop. This content is sourced from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). The update enables you to compare data from the Oil Flow model in your Thomson Reuters desktop with EIA statistics to aid your analysis and seize new opportunities faster.

Monitor Bid/Offer Prices on Calculated Inter-Commodity Energy Spreads

You can now benefit from an enhancement to Thomson Reuters calculated Energy spreads for key futures contracts. The update introduces a calculated bid and offer price allowing you to view a two way price for these contract pairings in addition to the last traded price. View Real-Time Fair Values of Oil Swaps

You can now benefit from Real-Time Fair Values of Oil Swaps, including Crude Oil, Fuel Oil, Naphtha and Middle Distillates, in addition to our three-times-a-day Asian Oil Swaps Forward Curve. This new data allows you to view notional values at all times of the day, bringing greater transparency to your market view. The data further strengthens our Asia Energy coverage, providing a reference pricing tool and helping you outperform in this competitive market.
