Mission Haiti Medical:Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a healthcare alliance with the people of Haiti, and we are making a huge impact! Since our inception in 1998, we have provided healthcare for over 100,000 people as well as overseeing the daily operations of an outpatient clinic in Saintard, Haiti employed by Haitian staff and medical personnel. The clinic recently got a little sprucing with new paint in a lovely, Caribbean blue color. The clinic provides healthcare services to Haitians through a medical clinic, dentistry clinic, eye clinic, two operating rooms, pharmacy, lab and a prosthetic unit.•Prayforthegoaloftakingthe

month of February to our neighbors? (I think that we need to ask these questions of ourselves and our ministries all of the time!) We have decided to do a food drive and then do a serving project at an area food bank that services many of our local mission organizations. This is a choice moment, but the deeper hope is that we come to a more tangible understanding of how we can choose to love others and show them the love of Christ, reaching out daily…BECAUSE…somanypeoplearehungry, not only for food to eat, but without even realizingit, arehungryforthe“BreadofLife.” Jesus.Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35We, in the church have a divine opportunity to help others find deep, real and eternal satisfaction in this life and the one to come! We get to tangibly show the love of God to other people, people who are hungry for something deeper in their lives.

ThismonthatMPCisFaithPromise, wewill be looking at many opportunities to give and serve and help this community and world. It’s an awesome chance.I want to encourage us all to think about how we can help others experience the love of God. It could be as simple as choosing kindness in a relationship, expressing thanks to someone in public, giving to a certain need, seeking out a serving or ministry opportunity in our church and community or even consider going on a cross-cultural mission trip experience.Prayaboutit.IguaranteethatGod has a place for you to serve and ways that you and I can make a difference in people’s lives, daily. What an awesome chance!Thereisasongcalled,“GoodToBeAlive”by Jason Gray. Check it out. In this song you will find this concept: “I wanna live like there’s no tomorrow. Love like I’m on borrowed time. It’s good to be alive.”Right?!Currently in our Senior High ministry, we are doing some things to help raise awareness about certain needs in our community and world. Needs like: Hunger, Human Trafficking, Anxiety and Depression.Wearealsotalkingabouthow

we can tangibly choose to make a difference and help others in need. We want to “love like (we’re) on borrowed time.”So,wewanttoaskthequestion,AreYOUhungry…hungry for more of God in your life? Hungry for the opportunity to make a difference, hungry to serve, hungry to help others who are hungry? There are so many people who are hungry in our part of the world. Hungry for food, for physical nourishment. Hungry for something deeper in life, for meaning. Hungry for love, for peace, for hope, for joy for purpose for Jesus…for life! We all have a chance everyday to help others who are hungry. Let’s “live like there’s no tomorrow.” Choose to make a difference today! So, when you and I say, “I’m hungry!” Maybeourdeclarationwillmeanmuchmorethanacallforasnickersbar.Maybeour hunger will be for much more!Jesussaid,“Blessedarethosewhohungerand thirst for righteousness, for they will befilled.”Matthew5:6
