Its position and tasteful redecoration will improve the flow of service and establish a lively focal point in the pub. Works will include: • Stripping and removing the existing bar servery. • Installing a new back bar fitting with new shelving, mirrors

and a space for free pour to create an eye-catching display.• Installing a new premium servery with a timber counter. • Laying safety altro flooring behind the bar. • Installing a new hand wash basin and glass wash area. • Laying a new attractive tiled bar apron with feature

hexagonal tiles. • Adding filament lighting over the bar for a chic, ambient

effect.Games AreaA brand new games area will be created towards the rear of the trade area. It will create a lively space where local customers can relax and unwind, and will be fully refurbished in line with the inviting look and feel of the pub. Works will include:• Extending the existing raised level and installing new

screening.• Laying new Amtico vinyl flooring. • Decorating with new reclaimed timber panelling to dado

height with decorative wallpaper above.• Adding new drinks shelves and poseur stools throughout for a

more casual and sociable atmosphere. • Fitting a section of fixed seating, with sharing tables and

loose wooden chairs. • Installing a new darts board, cladding the wall behind in

attractive reclaimed timbers.• Providing scorers and a chalkboard. • Finishing the space with decorative bric-a-brac. Lounge A lounge area will be created to the right of the trade area, decorated with a mix of traditional and modern finishes to establish an attractive, cosy feel throughout. Works will include:• Laying a new carpet.• Installing a new section of fixed seating, upholstered in a deep

leather button-back design. • Adding characterful reclaimed cladding above the fixed

• Finishing the space with tasteful bric-a-brac throughout. Bar AreaThe bar area will be redesigned in line with the pub’s fresh and contemporary style. It will service all areas of the pub and be a welcoming and lively space for customers to enjoy a casual drink or bite to eat. Works will include: • Laying new polished timber flooring, enhancing the pub’s

character. • Adding new dummy columns to break up the space, cladded

in brick slips. • Cladding the back wall in reclaimed panelling. • Adding an eclectic mix of bar furniture throughout, including

sharing tables, poseur bar stools and chairs upholstered in a variety of soft leathers and contemporary, patterned fabrics.

• Removing the existing stove and chimney breast.• Installing sections of fixed seating upholstered in a deep

leather button-back design. • Adding feature cabinets to divide the bar, lounge and games

areas. • Adding new ambient lighting throughout. • Decorating the walls in an attractive contrast of paint and

feature wallpapers.• Adding decorative bric-a-brac throughout. KitchenThe existing commercial kitchen will be relocated to the existing cellar. It will be designed to maximise service efficiency, with new appliances installed where necessary to facilitate the new food menu. A new feature hatch will also be formed, surrounded by full height glazed tiles for added character.

Dining AreaThe refurbishment will create a brand new dining area to the left of the trade area. With vibrant and charming new features, this will enhance the ambience of the venue and increase covers. The new dining area will be the perfect space to relax and enjoy the delicious new range of food and drink on offer. Works will include:• Stripping and removing the existing skittles alley.• Installing new glazed double doors for access to the enhanced

patio, increasing natural light into the venue.• Introducing a mixture of loose sharing tables throughout the

area to maximise covers. • Adding a variety of booth, loose and fixed seating, with plush

scatter cushions in contrasting fabrics and colours. • Laying a new carpet with a tasteful and contemporary

pattern. • Decorating the area in a rich heritage blue colour scheme. • Installing new curtains. • Adding new ambient lighting to the area.• Finishing the area with a variety of framed artwork and

tasteful bric-a-brac. CellarThe existing cellar will be retained but cut back to house the repositioned kitchen. A full redecoration will be carried out and a SmartDispense system installed to reduce waste and improve quality.ToiletsThe existing toilets will be relocated to the previous skittles alley area beside the new dining area. The relocation will open up the main bar area and allow room for a new accessible toilet to be created. All toilets will be fitted, furnished and decorated to continue the contemporary look of the pub. Works will include:• Installing brand new sanitary and brassware in all toilets. • Installing feature trough vanity units with mirrors above. • Laying new safety flooring and doors.• Adding dado height feature tiling to the perimeter of the

toilets and refurbishing the walls above. • Adding new hand dryers, soap dispensers, quirky toilet roll

holders and door hooks.• Installing feature lighting to make the toilets more welcoming.• Installing attractive timber cladding to the backs of all

cubicles.• Adding new decorative bric-a-brac throughout, including to

the accessible toilet. Beer GardenThe beer garden will be completely refurbished to create an attractive and inviting space for customers to use during the warmer months. Furthermore, the children’s play area will widen the pub’s target market and increase kerb appeal. Works will include: • Levelling the ground and creating a new opening from the

dining area.• Laying new floor slabs.• Forming attractive fixed seating with reversible cushions and

integrated planter unit behind. • Adding two new heaters to the wall. • Adding a mixture of loose outdoor seating, to increase covers

during the warmer months.• Softening the feel of the outdoor area with whimsical planting

and bric-a-brac.• Covering the patio area with a new pergola decorated with
