How to talk about sustainable consumption in the Global South? This question is often a non-starter. Mainstream sustainability discourse usually holds that the Global South is poor, and therefore, this question is irrelevant. While it most certainly is a question for the “rich world” and the rich world needs to take primary responsibility, the Global South is also urgently confronted by it in unique ways. This three-part series of interactive webinars invites you to join scholars and activists to explore and advance an appropriate vocabulary and knowledge-action agenda for sustainable consumption in the Global South.
