Three Simple Suggestions

from Jesus for Today#1: “Love One Another As I Have Loved You”

#2: “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself”

This Sunday – We're on Thanksgiving Break!

Yoido Pastor Yongii Cho: You know, we don’t do evangelism in

Korea the way you do it in the West . . . We have 50,000 cell groups and each group will love two people to Christ within the next year. They select someone who’s not a Christian, whom they can pray for, love and serve. They bring meals, help sweep out the person’s store — whatever it takes to show they really care for them.

When a person asks, “Why are you treating

me so well?" our peopleanswer, "Jesus told us that we’re supposed to do good to all men, andwe want you to know that we love you, and so does Jesus." After three or four months

of such love, the hardest soul softens up and

surrenders to Christ.

“After three or four months of such love, the hardest soul

softens up and surrenders to

Christ.”

Surely, God's love is even

more effective!

Open your heart this Thanksgiving

to God's love. Give thanks and praise!

Psalm 50:14-15 Sacrifice thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me. . . 23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and to him who considers his way I will show the salvation of God."

What will you include in your thank offering to God? Can you go through the entire week offering thanks for all that you've received?

For daily bread...

Take time to play and enjoy others.Let God enjoy seeing you be happy.

Laugh deep and know joytoday.

(For once, don't worry about what others think.)

God's kindness to us often goes unnoticed ... but not today.

Notice the signs of Christ's lovethis week.

How?When?

If you notice a problem, will you clean it up as a means of being thankful?

Notice the people

God loves this week.

Yes,

all of them.

Remember ... the very best days.

Remember ... winter won't last forever.

Remember ... above the storm,

the sun is always shining. You just have to rise above the clouds in order to be thankful on a bad day.

Remember ... the people who warm your heart

... and give thanks for them as well.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
