Where are we now?

1. Need: La'ie Elementary is not being specific enough in meeting the needs of all students through RTI Tier I supports .

2. Need: La' ie Elementary is not being specific enough in meeting the needs of targeted students through RTI Tier II supports.

3. Need: Data teams, grade level and grade level chair meetings are not yet systematized in achieving the highest levels of collaboration to maximize student support and achievement.

Effective Tier I & II supports will be refined and svstematized.

Rationale:

Chronic Absenteeism is currently 9% three year projection is estimated to be 9%. Not endorsing parents to withdraw their child from school when on extended trips and the change in the semester schedule at the adjacent university is anticipated to negatively impact the absenteeism rate.

Currently at 78% three year projection is estimated to be 80% or better. Seeking continual growth and improvement in positive student perception will impact the school climate and student growth and achievement in a positive way.

Currently at 46% three year projection is estimated to be 50% or better. As research shows that inclusive practices result in better attendance, achievement , referral rates and post-secondary outcomes a greater focus will be placed on providing effective instruction for special education students in the general education classroom. The result of implementing RTI svstem to deliver more effective Tier I and II supports . Currently at 78% three year projection is estimated to be at 81 % or better. Continued focus, collaboration and analysis of best practices and student assessment data will be emphasized maintain and improve student growth and achievement in future planning.

Currently at 62% three year projection is estimated to be at 65% or better. Continued focus, collaboration and effort for continued student achievement and growth to improve student college and career readiness.

Data teams are systematized and working at high levels of effectiveness GLO rubrics and common assessment practices implemented . School wide plan to address reading stamina and reading strateaies imolemented. School wide focus and plan on writing skills and practices.

As a result of our WASC Self-Study findings data teams, grade level and grade level chair meetings are not yet systematized in achieving the highest levels of collaboration to maximize student support and achievement. According to our Comprehensive Needs Assessment it was determined that teachers are not consistently using the GLO rubric to assess student's ability to exhibit those behaviors.
