{3 Potential Ideas
• Abandoned Barn• Playground• Train Station
Spectro Pictures
This was our very first idea when we first began brainstorming our plot ideas. Essentially this was based around a femme fatale character rescuing a tied up and masked teenage man from the barn whilst unknowingly being watched by two mysterious characters. We planned to confuse the audience with this piece by starting the film in the middle of the action and having only one of the characters facially visible.

Our 2nd idea was to have 3 ‘good’ characters that were all teenagers. When one of the characters gets peer pressured by the others but eventually left the situation, leaving them on their own. The one character that leaves gets kidnapped on his way home from the playground by a fourth character that is largely mysterious and unseen. We decided against this idea as despite liking the plot we thought there would be more suitable locations and changed it.

Three guys at the train station. Two go to get a ticket. The other one is waiting at the station. They don’t come back with the tickets. The guys waiting on the platform on his own. Camera angles looking through bars like he’s being watched. Goes down to look for them. Goes to tunnel and its dark. People walk from the other side of the tunnel. Tension builds but they walk past. Camera angles zoom in to the end of the tunnel. He walks down the tunnel and 2 actors walk past.. The end.

Johnny Radical (one who disappears)- Ruben Clark We chose Ruben for this part due to his drama past.
Ronny Pudding (one who disappears) - Sam ThompsonWe chose Sam for this part because he was willing to be a part of the project and was enthusiastic to be a part of his own project.
Emile Keeway (one who is left)-Alfred PinsentWe chose Alfred for the part of Emile Keeway because of his love of drama and also because of his acting ability.
Janet Snakehole- Lizzie LukeWe chose Lizzie for this part because she felt passionate about the thriller genre. Furthermore she goes against the thriller convention of the females being the victims.
Granary Laceboot- Bethany TetleyWe chose Bethany for this part because she also goes against the thriller convention of the female being the victim.
All of the cast are the same age of the target audience so it is easily relatable. All genders are in the project so it doesn't’t single out just one gender which adds to the audience being able to relate to the cast

Location
We have chosen the local village of Long Buckby as our filming location. The village has a relatively isolated and quiet train station.

Location Conventions…
The antagonist will be wearing mostly black. This will include a hat which is a prop. The hat will be a black beanie hat. This supports the Hermit Nickel theory in which the bad characters wear darker clothes and the protagonist wears lighter clothes.

We are using a phone when Emile Keeway checks the time to show his concern that his friends have not returned. We are using a phone instead of a watch to show the more modern times and to relate to the target audience of teenagers.
