Casa Grande 16th Annual Street Fair
On Saturday, January 16th, a group of Copperstate Mustang Members cruised down to Casa
Grande, AZ for the 16th Annual Street Fair and Car/Bike Show. We met at Golden Corral to enjoy
a hearty buffet before making it over to the downtown area. Parking and admission were both
free. The weather was a little chilly in the morning, but warmed up considerably once we got to
walking around. There were about 204 entrants with a variety of different make and model vehi-
cles and motorcycles on display. The cars were parked on both sides of the street that ran three
city blocks. In addition to the car and bike display, there were over 180 exhibitors selling a wide
range of arts and crafts. The streets were crowded as car enthusiasts enjoyed the show. This is
one car show not to miss out on, as there are some rare cars brought in from all over.
The show winners were as follows:
Cars:
First Place: 1949 Cadillac Street Rod Limo
Second Place: 1957 Chevy Pickup
Motorcycles:
First Place: 2002 Indian Spirit
Second Place: 2003 Harley Davidson
Thanks to Dan Martorano for letting us know about this car show. We look forward to the next
event as a club. So get your Ponies ready to roll!

Cruise To Miami
Plan on a two week long vacation when cruising to Miami, Florida. That’s why we plan to cruise to Arizo-
na’s Miami in Gila County near Globe on Saturday, February 27th.
With your gas tank filled, we’ll meet on the Southeast corner of US 60 (exit 188) and Power Rd in the
Home Depot parking lot next to Burger King. At 9:00 am we will head East on US 60 toward Superior, then head
South on State Route 177 through Kearny to the town of Winkelman, where we will catch State Route 77 and
head North to Globe. Then we will take US 60 West to the Copper mining city of Miami. In the central business
district of Miami we will stop at a 1930’S era ice cream shop. There you will find it difficult to resist purchasing
an ice cream treat. Neighboring antique stores will welcome your curiosity!
Return to the valley at your leisure.
