The Student Bar Association would like to wish everyone the best of luck in theirfuture careers. We have worked hard to make your law school experience a pleasantone. Whether assisting in the fight to keep the three journal system, or trying to throwa better party, we always had the best interests of the students in mind.

S.B.A. members devoted their own time to accomplish these tasks. We hope thatas everyone ventures out into their chosen careers they will have the opportunity totake a leadership role at some point. It is an experience that is both exhilarating andfrustrating, one that cannot be fully described within the confines of these pages, butwhich must be experienced. Some of you felt that your only task in law school was togo to classes and read the material. We hope that you will come to the forefrontduring your professional careers and realize that you can accomplish so much morethan mere existence.

We have been told throughout our years at Hofstra that as students we take backseats to no one. As you move on into the "real world," take pride in Hofstra Law.Every time you achieve a goal, you enhance the reputation and prestige of this school.Fifty years ago there were many schools that did not get all the on campus interviewsthey get today. It is only the success of their alumni that has caused the reputation ofthat school to skyrocket. You can be a part of that process at Hofstra.

Congratulations on your graduation! We hope that you will enjoy a long andprosperous career.
