The Fingers and their Meaning -

Thumb represents VENUS characterizes the SELF, Logic and Will

Flexible = Generous Long = Intelligence + Discretion Short = Haste, Action First Bulbous = Passionate (Murderer)

Index Finger JUPITER Status, Leadership, Prestige, Ambition, Image we show the Public, Material Success / Influence

Middle Finger SATURN Sage I Mystic, Value System of Right-Wrong, Morals, Ethics, Mental Acuity, Insight, Perception

Ring Finger SUN Fame, Fortune, Luck, Playfulness, Love, Passion Gambling, Ego, Ostentatious, Addiction

Little Finger MERCURY Communication, Writing, Eloquence, Wit, Knowledge, Travel, Curiosity

Phalanges (from base to tip) = Physical; Mental-Emotional; Spiritual OR Material; Practical; Mental / Outer World OR Order I Balance; Reasoning; Ideas I Inspiration

Phalanges of the Thumb Past I Hidden; Health, Material World OR Love / Passion; Logic; Will

The Major Lines

LINES ARE LIKE RIVERS

DEEP = Powerful, Strong, Passionate, Hot

BROKEN = Obstacles, Loss, Confusion, Danger

SHALLOW = Slow / Low Energy, Eroded, Tired, Complacent

VANISHING = Danger, Unseen Obstacles, Opposition

BRANCHING = Multiple qualities / Attractions (may be Positive or Negative)

CONFLICTS and PROBLEMS are seen through waves, broken and crossing lines.

When Major Lines Cross or Triangulate, their energies merge and each will affect / influence the other.

LIFE LINE Starts at the base of the Thumb, under Jupiter and is often intertwined with the Head Line.

The Life Line will run along the base of Venus, its length depicting the length and quality of one's life.

When it braches it indicates options of lifestyle or life quality.

When it wraps around the wrist the person ends up emigrating or living away from their birth place.

HEAD LINE Starts under Jupiter and runs through the Center of the Palm.

Its length determines degrees of Intelligence / Skill / Material Success.

If branching it shows multiple interests of deep importance [choices and opportunities for different Careers, or Lifestyles]

LOVE I HEART LINE

Starts under Mercury and moves towards Saturn.

Its complexity shows diverse interests.

If there are many 'feathers' (short lines flying off the edges) the person has many / varying interests, and may seek this by loving multiple people, often at the same time.

When the Love Line ends with two or more branches, the person acquires the ability, and reward, of loving deeply on many levels (mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically.)

DESTINY LINE Starts from the middle of the wrist and moves towards one of the Fingers.

The qualities of these Fingers shows the direction / influence of the person's destiny (usually Jupiter, Saturn or Sun).

STRESS LINE Starts from the center of the wrist and moves towards Mercury.

It should be light and broken. The deeper it is the more stress is present - often affecting Organs /Function

MODIFIERS

STARS and CROSSES Positive or Negative emphasis

SQUARES Protection, Support

TRIANGLES Links of Influence (sometimes auspicious).

GRIDS Restrictive, 'jail' energies.

ISLANDS (May be open / closed) Reduces, Isolates (unresolved Karma)

DOTS / DEPRESSIONS Setback OR Hidden Influence / Secrets

BROKEN I WAVY LINES Problems, Confusion

CROSSING LINES Impediments, Obstacles, Traumas May also simply link 2 / more lines, intertwining their Energies / influences.

PARALLEL LINES Support, Protect, Positive Influence
