Bee meeting
Could the pupils involved in the Bee Project please meet in Mr Ambrose's room (032)
after school today for our second beekeeping lesson Ʉ S3 Alton Towers All going to Alton Towers need to come and see Ms McAlpine today at some point to collect
a letter with more information. Will be in Room 141 most of the day.
Music Performers Wanted
Can any pupils who are interested in performing music at the Summer Food Festival
on the 16th of June please see Mr Fowler for details and consent forms.
Wednesday 30 May
Community Partnership Summer Food Festival
On Saturday 16th June from 10am to 2pm we are having a Community Partnership
Summer Food Festival in the school. This is a day for all the family and friends to
come and enjoy an exciting range of food and to socialise. Our Food Assembly
producers will be there with our Community Café with pupils performing musical
entertainment. We are also planning to have Stirling High School honey for sale and
stalls run by families.
Pupils, families and friends can have a stall at our Summer Food Festival. Your stall
could sell home-baking or other goods. Please ensure you know all the ingredients of
anything you produce so you can tell your customers. If you would like a stall, please
contact the school office or email. [email protected]

Wednesday, pupils should register in the appropriate room for their chosen activity
on Friday 1st June.

Bee meeting

Rhythm and Soul band Rehearsal Change
The group is rehearsing on Thursday lunchtime this week in Mr Fowler's room, all
members must attend.
(New S4) Historic Environment Scotland Take over day
On the 17th May all of S3 (new S4) took part in activities provided by Engine Shed
with guests from Historic Environment Scotland.

Jordan who organised the day is now looking for a group of 6-8 pupils to work with
on an exciting project.
If you enjoyed the activities on the day or are considering a career in those areas
then this is for you!
You will be meeting with Jordan once a month to plan an event at the Engine Shed.
If you are interested then come to a meeting on Thursday 31st at interval in Rm 109
or see K Withey.

SHS SHOWCASE
Auditions will take place today after school in the Dance Studio.
S3 DoE Expedition Debrief and Final Exped
Meeting in room 109 Wed 30th at 12.40pm.
This is for reviewing the Practice Expedition and to give out details for the Final
Expedition.
Basketball Club
A reminder that Basketball Club continues to run on a Wednesday from 3-4. Open to
anyone in S1-S3 of all ability levels.
Ukulele Group
All members of the ukulele group MUST ATTEND rehearsal on Wednesday lunchtime.
We have been asked to perform at an event next week. More information about this
will be given on Wednesday.

My World of Work Ambassadors
A reminder that the MWOW ambassadors are meeting with Ms Campbell at
lunchtime today.
Summer Concert Permission Forms
We are still waiting on several permission slips for the Summer Concert, if you have
lost your letter please collect one from the notice board in the music department.
Summer Concert Tickets
Tickets for the summer concert can be collected from the school office (two tickets
per family) these are free and any spare tickets will be released a couple of days
before the concert.
Litter out of school
Please remember that when you are out of school at lunchtimes that there are many
bins available for your use. Please do not drop your letter in the local community
and use the bins provided. We work very closely with the community and are very
proud of the work our Eco club has done over the past 15 years. We need everyone
to play their part in ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
Extra curricular survey
Could all S1 to S3 pupils please complete a short questionnaire on the extra
curricular activities they would like to participate in at Stirling HS. S1 + S2 pupils can
find the questionnaire in their google classrooms, S3 can find it in their school gmail
accounts.

The 2018 showcase will take place on Wednesday 27th June. If you would like to
audition for the showcase please sign up on the noticeboard across from the PE base.
Auditions will take place Tuesday 29th May.
