To the family of Jean Henderson upon her death July 29, 2015.

To the family of Jimmy Franks upon his death August 6, 2015.

To the family of Faye Tolley upon her death August 13, 2015.

I would like to thank everyone for the many

things you did for Brenda and the many prayers

that you prayed for Brenda, Jerry, and me. Thank

you for the memorials, food, every kind deed, and

for the ones that stayed with Brenda when I

couldn’t. Brenda loved her church and working

with the children. Please keep up her legacy of

teaching the children. I try to stay focused on

Heavenly things and not on Earthl things. We,

Jerry and I, try to obey God as He would want us

to do.

Love in Christ,

Betty Layton

First Baptist Church is pleased to offer a preventive health event. Life Line Screening, a leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings, will host their affordable, non-invasive and painless health screenings on 9/24/2015. Five screenings will be offered that scan for po-tential health problems related to: blocked arteries which is a leading cause of stroke; abdominal aortic aneurysms which can lead to a ruptured aorta; hardening of the arteries in the legs which is a strong predictor of heart dis-ease; atrial fibrillation or irregular heart beat which is closely tied to stroke risk; and a bone density screening, for men and women, used to assess the risk of osteoporosis. Register for a Wellness Package which includes 4 vas-cular tests and osteoporosis screening from $149 ($139 with our member discount). All five screenings take 60-90 minutes to complete. In order to register for this event and to receive a $10 discount off any package priced above $129, please call 1-888-653-6441 or visit
